We've never done this and I thought it might be a fun activity for our no park day. Grab lunch at one of the resorts and then rent some boats

Hi @MinnieMin - Since the Sea Racers are a Resorts activity, I moved your post to the Resorts Board. The folks here can help.

Gosh, I can't state this as fact but I know I did read a year or so ago that the sea racers around Port Orleans have a lower horse power than the ones on the bigger lakes. So, might be better off getting a resort around 7 seas lagoon, (monorail resorts), or the Epcot resort area.

We've rented them a few times and our favorite location is the Poly. We like to grab lunch at Captain Cook's then head out to the marina. After our ride, we head to Trader Sam's for some cocktails and ambiance. We've rented out of Grand Floridian, as well as Contemporary, but find ourselves returning to the Poly marina more often to continue this tradition.

Captain Cooks —> Sea Racers —> Trader Sams sounds like an excellent plan to me!

We had a lot of fun doing it at Yacht Club but I bet the magic kingdom area would be more fun. We’ve never tried it there before

Poly is the best area because in a prime area of the lagoon. Also after it has many dining options plus Trader Sams which is great fun.

Anywhere around MK. We rented at Poly and WL. there’s more interesting areas to explore. All the islands and also going over the water bridge by CR. And I think it’s the largest area.
POR, CBR and Disney Springs no longer rent them. I think the only areas left are MK and EPcot area.

We rented at GF! We did a couple sea racers and then rented a pontoon boat for the rest of the group! It was so much fun!!!

We rented them at Fort Wilderness and had a blast. They go quite slowly- more like Sea Strollers rather than Sea Racers- but they are still a lot of fun.

I would rent them at whichever MK resort you can get to the easiest. FW is more challenging if you aren't staying there because you have to park and then take a bus to the lake area. However, it you have an entire resort day planned, FW is great because you can do a lot of fun activities at the Fort, like ride horses, play volleyball, rent bikes, fish, etc.

They go fairly fast if there’s only one in the boat lol. To get to the Fort we take the bus to either Contemporary or WL and take the FW boat over, let’s you off right at the marina.

For those of you who have rented them before, are they loud to operate? I've often considered taking my son on one, but we both have sensitive ears.

The ones around the Magic Kingdom resorts supposedly have more horsepower because the lakes are bigger. Take a small cushion or something to sit on, my rear was hurting after twenty minutes. I don't think they were to loud for my seven year old daughter, she had fun and never complained about the noise.
