What's the best Keurig deal now?

I need to replace my Keurig coffee maker. I almost bought oneat Kohls.com last week when it was on sale for $119 and I had a 30% off code. I didn't because I was spending so much on kids' clothes that I put it off thinking mine would last a while longer even though it was acting up. Now my Keurig is completely dead and I sit here with no coffee. :sad1:

Is there a good deal somewhere? I'm not set on one particular model.

Best deal I find so far is at Target.com, the K40 is $109 with free shipping and a $20 Target gift card and 5% off using Target card and 2.5% back from Ebates. Anything better? :coffee: (Dreaming) (Heading to Starbucks soon!)

Same Keuring still on sale for $119.99 on Kohls.com. Code MARCHING for 20% off brings it to $96. Add a $5 purchase to bring your after-discount total to $100 and get $20 in Kohl's Cash. Free shipping with $50+ purchase with no code needed.

Thank you! I considered that, but then decided I'd rather have the $20 at Target and no time limit to use it. Then I discovered a better deal at Target...

There is a Keurig bundle to save an extra 10% where you select one coffee maker including the K45 I wanted and as many boxes of coffee as you want--I selected one $10 box for a total of $107.09 and free shipping and free $20 GC before using my target card for 5% off and getting the 2.5% from Ebates too. So now it's cheaper and I get some coffee pods too. I think I'll take it. I also have $15 in previous GCs to use so it makes the most sense for me.

I've seen a thread on here before where people called the Keurig customer service line when their machine stopped working, and they were sent out a new machine for free. I've haven't done this myself, but it's worth a try.

Good advice. I didn't expect much since my brewer is a couple years old, but they were nice and tried to help us get it working. Then they offered us a replacement for $97. Of course I had a better deal so we went with Target. But it was worth a try.

The new 2.0 comes out this week. (It's AMAZING. Seriously.)

If you have issues with an old one, calling Customer Service is a great idea. They can walk you through some troubleshooting, and they are great at working to help resolve the issue. I know they work extremely hard to make things right.

I think there will be a todays special value at QVC any day now on the new 2.0. Mine has been giving me a hard time (not brewing full cup). I have done a number of things and it just seems to work for a bit then back to its old ways.

Have you actually done legitimate research on it or just going off of a headline you saw?

Every article that I have seen (from back in March until 2 days ago) say the newer bigger pods (K-Carafe) have a DRM-like system built in. Today I watched a video direct from Keurig about the 2.0 stating it "reads" the Pod. Between the lines: stating is has DRM without right saying it does.

As much flack Keurig is getting about this, they haven't come out and said otherwise.

I'm considering buying a Keurig too...can someone explain what DRM is? Is this some sort of issue?

Sam's Club has a bundle with a filter, reuseable Kcup and like 26 k cups for $129.00. Kohl's with the 30% off is usually the best deal.

I also figured that Kohls is going to be the best deal. Just have to wait until they run their 30% off. I just happened to get lucky a couple years ago. They happened to be on sale for like $100, and I cashed in a 30% off code to go along with it.

DRM is Digital Rights Management. It means they have added technology that would only allow officially licensed K Cups to be used in it. This article explains it better than I do. http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/07/tech/social-media/apparently-this-matters-keurig-drm/

I think they are shooting themselves in the foot with this. IMO, the reason that Keurig bear out the Tassimo is b/c it could use other coffee from other companies! The Tasimo has a barcode on each coffee pod that the machine reads, so other companies couldn't create pods for the Tassimo, which severely limited the coffee variety.

Mine died last year. It was like 4 years old so Keurig would only sell me a new one at a discounted rate. I decided to buy my new one at Costco because of their great return policy. I saved the box and if it breaks again I will bring it back . Kind of irritated that these coffee makers don't last too long after all,you pay for them!!'
