What's the best Entree at Raglan Road?

I will be in the minority. I thought the shepards pie was pretty good. It is a twist, though, on a standard shepards pie, and therefore probably throws some people off.

Sorry to hear about the sheppards pie. That would have been my first choice during our visit in February 2008. However, I am glad to hear the positive reports about the bread pudding. I now know what I will have for dessert.[/QUI
I'm planning to go in Feb also ! Probably as a solo . Looking to meet up with other Dissers!!

I liked the Shepherd's Pie. We went on a stormy day, so it was quite comforting. It's a simple dish, so I didn't expect any more than solid comfort food and it fit the bill. I've had it at R&C, but Raglan Road's beat them by a mile.

I had the Heavenly Ham.

They brought it out, I took one bite and burst into tears. It tasted EXACTLY like what my mother used to make. She's been gone now for about 15 years. All I could think about the entire meal was how much I missed her cooking. I felt like a fool for crying. But the food was wonderful!

I'd go back to Raglan Road in a heartbeat. I just won't have the ham. It brings back too many memories!

We liked the Not Bleeding Chowder; it was quite good. For appetizers, we really like the Smokie City.

Cheers!

I had the Fish and Chips, and it was tasty...my FAVE there though was the Goats Town appetizer- I'm still drooling over that one!
I had the Dunbrodies Kiss too...very chocolatly, and dense- it really is hard to describe better than that...very tasty, but by that point in the vacation (last night) I was just so stuffed, I didn't appreciate it as much as I probably would have otherwise...
