What's the best Disney resort ROOM?

I've been having a blast recently trying to stay at as many Disney resorts as possible and was wondering what was your favorite resort room you've stayed in? Be as specific as possible with views and location. I recently splurged for a night at Contemporary Magic Kingdom view (11th floor) and was blown away! It brought tears to my eyes.
What's your favorite room? There are so many special ones! I also love being on the croquet lawn at Boardwalk Villas.

So many have greats views: My room at the Poly that had a monorail view, GF room that had a monorail view, BC with a view of the boardwalk. But my favorite ROOM was the royal room at POR in Mangolia bend. The headboard has fireworks, the sink faucet looks like genie's lamp and the rug looks like Aladdin's carpet. The whole room was fit for a princess.

We visit every few years and are also trying to stay at just about every mod and deluxe resort. We have even done a few split stays. So far my favorites have to be Poly CL where we had a great view of the Electrical Water Pageant and the MK fireworks. And, at CR with the TPV. Our next trip is Thanksgiving and will be staying at POR in a RR.

I'm afraid in my view, you can't beat what you just experienced. Unquestionably my favorite rooms are theme park view rooms at the Contemporary. ( <==== I took my avatar pic of Space Mountain one night from there.)

And if you didn't get to enjoy a room service breakfast on your balcony, try it next time. What fun!

BWV grand villa. Corner villa with side balcony overlooking the village green and the 4 remaining balconies facing the boardwalk. Gorgeous room. Amazing views.

I have 2 - can’t decide which is my favorite!

Poly bungalow (can’t remember the actual number, but on the side closer to the Great Ceremonial House.) Straight on view of the fireworks every night, watching alone on our own deck on the water. Hearing the boat horns, the train and other MK sounds carrying over the water. Feels so magical. Kids could swim right there on the deck to cool off and they loved it. The downside was that the bungalow is very dark - we prefer light and bright.

Grand Floridian Grand Villa. Top floor.
This villa is absolutely stunning. So so much space. The views are beautiful, the deck space is wonderful. It’s light and bright and gorgeous.

For us, the Grand Floridian villa was the most luxurious and comfortable. But the Poly bungalow was the coolest experience.

My best room was being upgraded to Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn. The room had a view of the Friendship boats and the boardwalk. The best non-upgraded room was a garden view room #5306 at the Boardwalk Inn -- not too far from the elevators and had a lovely view of Spaceship Earth and night-time fireworks from Epcot.

We've had some great rooms. While we loved them they are by not means the BEST room on the property. We could never afford one of those. One of those would be one of the name suites. Like when we recently took a tour of the Steeple Chase Suite at BWI. That was a beautiful room. We were staying a few doors down and asked about it, happened to be empty so the staff let us in to look around. At some like $3000 a night, it's not a place we'd ever get to stay. Can dream about it though.

In the rooms we've stayed in, one of our favorites was when we got upgraded to one of the cottages at BWI for our anniversary. They are really sweet rooms and I'd be very glad to stay in one again.

The other that we love and have stayed in several times is one of the TPV rooms at CR. They've never failed to disappoint, both in service at the resort and in the room. And the view of course. And as PP mentioned, having room service while watching fireworks is 'the bomb!"

Of all of the rooms we've stayed in, our favorite rooms were at Beach Club. We had 3 rooms in 2016. We are first floor people, so we requested that. We absolutely loved the location! They were the first rooms right down the hallway to the right of the Marketplace gift shop right by the lobby. Our view was considered garden and even that was awesome - we opened our balcony to the courtyard where people come and go into the lobby and we had a view of the Boardwalk to our left. We loved it. We loved how close we were to the Marketplace and the lobby.

Fun! Loved reading the responses to this!

We've had a lot of great rooms.

1. Cl Deluxe room at BWI- it's a spacious room with a balcony that overlooks the boardwalk. We were close to the lounge. It was great to sit on the balcony and watch the boardwalk, the beach club across the way.
2. Bungalow at the Polynesian - fun experience! Nothing like our son being able to play in the plunge pool and having the light parade go by and watch fireworks
3. Queen deluxe rooms at Rpc- we love when we get hear two rooms together right off the lounge. It's a great location, huge rooms and has great resort views
4. savannah view 1 bedroom villa we had in February. View was great, we were next to some of the club level suites on the 5th floor overlooking the viewing area behind the main lobby. Shortest akv dvc walk we have ever had when not staying club level, lots of animal activity.

I'm sure more! We've enjoyed a lot of great rooms!

We loved our poly room. We requested Fiji 3rd floor marina view. We got 1st floor. It was the first room when you came into the building too. We loved the patio and the kids found it “easier” to hop off of the patio to go to the pool or refill their mug. Great location and just steps from GCH.

Well, for me there is only one solid "hands-down" winner here......the Cinderella Castle Suite of course!!
