When we started this DISigns board, we used to order from a lady on Ebay. What's the best now? I am completely out and we leave in 13 days.

Thanks!

I have used the ebay lady transfers and Avery transfers and can't really tell much difference. I like them both really well. I get my Avery transfers at Staples or Office Depot. I think Walmart may also carry them.

Hope this helps.

Wish I had read this before I went out and bought six packs of Print Works. Anyone have and feedback on them? :confused3 Please tell me they will work out? :scared1:
Thanks, Penny:hippie:

I've also used the ebay lady and Avery. I think that the ebay holds up a bit better, but would use the Avery in a pinch.

I did a search under "transfer dark iron" and I got 79 results. I think the ebay lady people are referring to is Mariettaangie, and her store is called Heat Transfer Supplies. But I've seen another lister called Naras04 and their store is Naras Technology. They claim to have industrial grade transfer paper which is supposedly of a better quality.

I'm getting ready to buy some transfer paper in bulk. Does anyone have any experience with these ebay listers?

Thanks,
Jil

It's Mariettangie we have always used here. I've had very good luck with the DARK paper.

Be careful triplefigs - the first time I ordered from them (mariettaangie)- I LOVED the transfers and couldn't stop singing their praises.

Then I placed another large order and they were not even close to the same quality. When I asked about it later, they said if they run out they sometimes have to substitute for not the "good stuff" - they told me to ask for the premium cold peel transfers to get the "good stuff".

I haven't tried them since. I have been trying to shop around a little. I, so far, am liking the transfers I bought from www.transfertechnology.com. They didn't seem to be quite as vibrant but transfered well and have so far washed up well. (I made these shirts in early November) I was much happier with these than the second set from the ebay vendor - which did not transfer well, some bleeding, etc.

I hope this helps.

Thanks, Amy. I have purchased from her 4 times with great luck. I did just email her with your specific comment, though, just to be safe. Thanks for looking out for me! :-) And I'll be making a couple of your designs for our trip. Don't you have the HSM?

Yes, I have several High School Musical Designs. I am glad I could help and let me know if you get the "good stuff". I want to know that works to request that before ordering from them again.

Amy, sent you a PM about the HSM design.

When you received your package from Mariettaangie - was the paper in a sealed package or loose sheets? Thanks - I just received 50 sheets from her and was not impressed with the shipping.

It was loose in a padded envelope, but all the shipments I've received have always been that way. The paper is very good quality.

Can I ask a question since we are talking about this what is DYE SUBLIMATION transfer paper that this lady sells on ebay ? Does anyone know ? TIA
