What's the advantages of a easy access pass?

Easy access pass?? Is that what it's called? My autistic son will be entitled to one this year. He doesn't understand that he has to wait for rides etc, so this will be fab.

Anyways, what does the card give you access too? Will we be able to use it for like princess provlion and the mickey met? Or do we wait in the normal ques?

There are 2 types of pass, the 'Easy Access' and the 'Disability Pass', I'm not sure which one you would be entitled to.

We've just returned from a half term trip, where my wife was eligible for a disability pass, which meant that we could enter through the exit of the rides, this also included the Princess Pavillion and Meet Mickey.

I've been wondering this as well as our son has just been diagnosed with high functioning autism. He's handled queueing well in the past but now that he's getting older he's struggling more in social situations and I'm trying to get as much info as I can about disability passes before we go next year (yes, I'm a planner!) I'm wondering what sort of evidence we'd need of a disability to show them as autism is one of those disabilities that isn't always apparent. I think we're probably going to play it by ear and see how he copes but I'd like to know that the options there if we need it.

You get to use the disabled access of the rides listed on the back of the pass there is still some waiting but only 5 mins or so. You also get to walk upto the front of meet and greets so you don't stand in line waiting ages.

I THINK the disability pass gives you access to the seated area in parades, playhouse disney etc whereas the easy access pass just means you dont que. The rides you can use it on are also different as some rides aren't suitable for disabled people.

The pass is not usable on the parachutes ride for Autism. We had a CM explain that as we had shown him that DS has a 'mental disability' (Autism) he could not even let us queue up for the ride.

Suppose they have to cover themselves for insurance purposes. If your ride isn't listed on the back of your pass but you want to ride it anyway you will have to join the normal que.

ur son wud get an easy access pass..... as mentioned above, he wud not b able to ride parachutes or rc racer - other than that it is fine....

yes, organised meets u get to go to the exit and u have a short wait (and less ppl).... the princesses, u can only go once per hr to the exit - and they do make a note...... also they did do this on sum other things, but i forget which now....

for the scrums (sorry, unorganised meets) be warned...... they are now letting the character choose who they see - so ppl shoving their child forward dont win any more - as the character will send them back!!! BUT, some cms will not bring u to the front for a meet )if they are wheelchair bound obv that is diff), and ur child will still have to stand and wait to be 'chosen'....... some do, but some dont (but i do think the character is then aware of the card - if u do kinda waft it lol). oh, and the bigger the child, it seems the less chance of being 'chosen'.....

rides - most u go to the exit, but always best to check at the entrance, as buzz changed which exit throughout the day lol some u will be given a time to come back at if they are busy.....
