What's that one thing you just have to do every visit?

See Tink fly. I don't have to see the parade, don't need no Wishes, can leave during the FWs but I gots to see me some Tink.

Well, I haven't been enough to have an "every visit" tradition yet, but after our Easter visit, I think eating early lunch at Casey's Corner will probably be a tradition. I just love that location for people-watching and atmosphere-absorbing, and by getting there when it opened we were able to get our food quickly and good seats outside. It doesn't seem like much, but it was perfection to me.

Mickey bars while overlooking the water at Epcot, Wetzel's Pretzels while people watching at DS, Bloomin' Onion at MCO before we fly home...basically just food!!

First thing we do when we hit MK on day one is head up to the train station platform and take in the view of Main Street and the castle (sigh), then it's off to see my best pal Mickey to start off the trip.

Now I'm hearing that the train station platform is no longer an option for Joe Public - it is now roped off for various VIP seating. But Mickey is still there. C'est la vie.

I love these "must do's".

My very first thought on the one thing I have to do was, "take a nap." It's so funny, it seems that I initially value resting on vacation above all others. heh!

On further reflection, the must do for me is find a bench or comfy spot to enjoy a refreshing beverage or freezey-pop, and just soak in the atmosphere. Otherwise, I find that somehow my "cranky-pants" find their way into my vacation wardrobe. hehe.

Ugh I have so many!
Haunted Mansion as many times as possible
Dole whip for breakfast
Mickey bar
Ice cream cookie sandwich
Cantaloopy
Viking coffee
Tokyo sunset
Pick a pearl
Ride figment
Quote the monorail
Quote the bus
Quote the pre-illuminations announcement
Buy some kind of goofy cup (lefou's cup, belle goblet, country bear jug, etc)
Buy popcorn buckets to use in my classroom!

Followed by the "Welcome Home" at whatever resort I like to grab a Starbuck's from whatever park we visit and just relax and take it in..."I'M AT DISNEY WORLD!" :cool1: :tink:

It's funny because for us, this has changed over the years. Currently, it's I get an apple. Last week, we had an apple decorated like Elliott from Pete's dragon.

Go through security!!

No, but seriously, I always eat at Rose and Crown, and Sci-Fi Dine In. Fifties Prime Time Diner, as well.

I always have to explore at least some of the Disney resorts. I don't know why, but that's just as important to me as attractions.

As for attractions, Spaceship Earth, American Adventure, Grand Fiesta Tour, People Mover, Country Bears, Great Movie Ride, Haunted Mansion.

If any of these are closed on my trip, I feel incomplete.
