What's something you don't have that EVERYONE else has?

Let's see, I don't have an Ipod, Tivo, blackberry. At least
I don't think that I have these as don't really know what they are.

No dishwasher either. Think that I am living in the dark ages.

I too would like a maid or cleaning service. I can keep up on most things but the cleaning is something that never seems to be finished. Maybe I could teach the dog to sweep....after all it is his mess mostly

You should see me today! Keep in mind that I'm home with a sick son and he kept waking me up last night, so I really don't give a rat's rear, but I have an old Lee matching sweatsuit on (you know, the real cheap, tacky, comfy ones), and slippers that don't even match the clothes. I suppose that I did run a brush through my hair at one point. And I'm working on a migraine. UGH! Yep, tomorrow will be a better day.

I have on old sweatpants and tennis shoes. But I do have on a Mickey t-shirt so I'm not a total loser.

I don't have a toaster. Or a big savings account. Or even much money in my little savings account. I don't have any kids, but we're hoping to remedy that sometime in the near future.

My dh is a tech junkie, so we have ipod, camcorder, digital camera, etc.

No tivo, which I think is a good thing.

No garbage disposal.

I stay away from the budget board for that very reason, the "budgeteers" have a way of making you feel like crap if you have any type of question about any debt you may have.

I don't mean to go off-topic, but I just wanted to agree with what you said. I've checked that board a couple of times and got the same impression. Furthermore, I find their attitude to be a little on the snobbish side.

A driver's license (at this point, I doubt I'll ever have one)

I kinda have a DVD player. Last year, I got a TV/DVD player. It's a small TV (only 13 inches) so I use it in my bedroom. I think I'm going to ask for a DVD player for my birthday, so I can connect it to the TV downstairs.

I still use dial-up internet, but I think I'm going to change that too. My cable company has a nice deal for a cable modem & phone that I think I'm going to switch to. I bought a nice new computer & it deserves a high speed connection!

tivo - still don't understand it
digital camera - don't laugh but I love taking pictures with my disposables

Things I couldn't live without though are my dishwasher and microwave. I can't figure out the people who said that they had them but never used them.

Oh and I don't have an ipod either. DH and ds's have them. I have no use for them though.
