We have an 8 am flight on a Wed. in Nov. on JetBlue. We've been in horrendous lines on Sat and Sun. I'm guessing a Wed would be maybe 15 minutes top. What do you think?

No way of knowing. I have had relatively short times on weekends, but longer ones during the week. BUT...I don't usually fly out of MCO that early in the morning...on any day!!

I've had 8-9am flights out of MCO on various days through the week. It can be very long or very short.....no way to know. MCO is a very busy airport all day, every day.

Give yourself lots of time to move through the airport and security. I stick with arriving 2 hours(minimum) before the flight and much prefer to be early and sit with breakfast than to be stressing about making it to the gate.

I've flown home many different days of the week and different times of the year (including Easter/TG weeks) and never notice a huge difference.

If I had to have an 8am flight, I would stay at the Hyatt inside the MCO terminal. From our balcony, we could see the security lines. You simply walk out your door, go check your bags & walk through security. Easy peasy.

It's a tad expensive but if you call to book it as a "Stay" (vs. online booking) using a Stay Certificate, it's only around $150 incl tax. Price-wise on par with a WDW moderate resort but definitely deluxe hotel.

The ph# to call to book using a stay cert is in the Terms & Conditions section of "Certificates For Stays Of 1 To 5 Nights Or More".
I always make sure they have availability for using a cert before I buy one. It's different from regular availability you see online.
