What's on YOUR wish list this Christmas?

I would LOVE a Nook or Kindle for Christmas- and WANT an iPad, but won't hold my breath! LOL

Other than that- we're going to WDW in February, so Disney GCs would be nice

My birthday, anniversary and Christmas are all in the same month so I have lots of people already asking me what I want. I'd like a new set of sheets. We're down to 1 set and I keep having to wash them every week or two if I really let it go. Of course, my SIL usually gets me a Fresh Market gift card. I have the one from last year. If I get one this year then I can buy a whole beef tenderloin when they go on sale. That would be nice. I really hope DH finds a new job soon. He's been out of work since Sept 08.

My wish list for Christmas:
- Rock Band 3 w/pro guitar, pro keyboard & cymbals to attach to our regular RB2 instruments ~$300 for the getup.
Hubby & I both want this...badly.
- Harry Potter Movies 1-6 Blu Ray ~$70.
Been reading the books (on #5) and want to see the movies and then share both with the kids as they get older. I was/am too into Twilight to bother with Potter before lol. And, no, Eclipse is NOT on the wish list because we are buying that bugger the second it comes out on Dec 4th! Same with World of Warcraft Cataclysm which releases Dec 7 - can't wait until Christmas with that. Both hubby & I have tons of toons to get to 85!
- A netbook or cheap, cheap, cheap Laptop (Black Friday?) for my boys so they get off MY computer! Hopefully ~$200
- would love an Ipad or new 4G phone, but I am content with my Kindle & phone so we can save that $$
- while we are dreaming... new recliners for our TV room. We have only 1 since the other one broke years ago and the kids are always fighting over it. Can't bring myself to spend the $1K for quality ones so we'll pass on this again. Kids need new beds first...
- Amazon gift cards so I can buy more books for my kindle.

A few weeks ago DH bought me a camera (needed it for my craft business) I told him to treat it as my Christmas present but he won't. Keeps pressing me for ideas.

I must be getting old, because I've been having trouble coming up with even one idea. The only thing I can think of is a laptop. We have two and a half laptops - the half refers to the old clunker that is so slow, it seems to be a standstill most of the time. Our computers are used for work, studies and entertainment. We have four computer users in the house, and the laptop sharing thing can be a bit of a pain.

However, the laptop isn't in the budget right now, so I'll have to come up with another idea

i would love to have a vacation, just DH, DD and i. we went to hilton head, sc, with my in-laws (MIL, FIL, SIL and her DH) last month, but SIL's DH (DBIL) is a liberal obama fan and DH and FIL are die-hard conservatives, so there were a LOT of VERY tense moments. so, i would love to go somewhere for a few days, just the 3 of us, but there's no money for it.

since that's not possible, i'd love to have a job. any job. i've been a SAHM for 11 years, and no matter what i do, i can't even get a response to my resumes and job applications. at this point, i don't even care what the job is, i just want to work. unfortunately, the classifieds here are empty, unless i want to be an exotic dancer at a sleazy bar on the outskirts of town (veiled excuse for a brothel).

I know this is going to sound so corny, but I'm getting what I really want... Christmas with my family. I live in MS and my family lives in Cape Cod, so it's hard not seeing them. All I want is to fly home.... so, we're flying home the day after Christmas until New Year's day. I'm more excited than you'll ever know..... That to me, is the best Christmas present ever.

Now, my DH on the other hand....keeps sending me "hint" emails daily of what he "can't live without for Christmas". YEESH.

My dh is already asking what to get me for Christmas

While I'd be content getting something I know he wants to have at least one small gift for me to open since he knows I get him something every year, but I have no idea what to put on my wish list this year. So far the only thing on my Amazon wish list is Kindle books, and you can't unwrap those

But you can wrap the Amazon Kindle gift cards that are hanging right near the Kindles at Target. I pointed these out to my DH 'cause his mom hates not sending us anything and doesn't understand how much we love getting Amazon gift cards so we can buy any book we want.

I'd love new nice sheets for the bed, new good towels for our bathroom (that match and everything), and a pair of diamond stud earrings. However if there's something that I want but don't need it's this http://mario25.nintendo.com/redwii/. I have a thing for red gadgets, so...

I am hoping for a new (cheap) camera. Mine has a horrible flash and does not take very good pictures. It's really old and I know there are some cheap ones out there that are much better than mine!

A car charger for my Droid 2. I didn't want to spend the money on it when I got my phone.

My "fantasy" item (if there's a GOOD sale and if we have the money) would be a Kindle. I have the Kindle app on my phone and it's fine but this would be the luxury item I'd be interested in.

Hey....as for the car charger...I got a couple of car chargers for my palm pre from www.cellphoneshop.net. I have bought lots of stuff from them, all has worked great, and is really cheap!! I think I paid about $2 for my car chargers! They come from hong kong, but seriously, have had no trouble. So maybe it doesn't have to be a luxury item!

I love gift cards! I don't care what store they are for, I always grateful to just have the option of choosing what I want (either now, or later). People always ask me what I want for Xmas, and I rarely can give a concrete answer other than gift cards. Sometimes I really don't want anything, so then I save the gift cards for another time.

DH and I are going to WDW this December, so that is what I'm looking forward to this holiday season!

My DH and I are getting each other the Wii and Wii Fit... it's taken us so long to get one! It's more a family gift. I'd also like some LittleMissMatched socks--I'm a big spender, LOL!

To those who need jobs, I wish you all the luck and hope something comes through for you soon. My dad was out of work for about 4 years when I was a teen; it was tough, but I'm sure I didn't know the half of it as a kid.
