Can't find a thread for this year, so I'll start: What's on your Thanksgiving table this year?

We are having smoked turkey with stuffing (Stove Top- I'm the only one who likes in-the-bird stuffing, and it's not the same with a smoked turkey) and gravy. Mashed Yukon gold potatoes, a pan of roasted fall/root veggies (sweet potato, onion, carrots, butternut, parsnips, beets), @PollyannaMom's green PEA casserole w/crunchy onion topping, cranberry sauce (from the can, with lines). Dessert will be eggnog pie, pumpkin pie, crumb-topped apple pie with ice cream and whipped cream. DD is going to deal with appetizers, so I bet she makes a squash/carrot/ginger soup and maybe baked brie. Guests are DH, DD/SIL/Little Guy, my nephew and his husband, and possibly two grad students. Doesn't sound like I have enough food... but I went to 5 grocery stores yesterday and don't know if I have another trip in me!

turkey breast
mixed bread stuffing with apples and onions
roasted butternut squash
peas and carrots
broccoli
mashed potatoes
cranberry sauce
gravy

pumpkin pie, apple pie, chocolate pie

Pizza, lemon meringue pie, cheesecake and salad.

We have plenty of options for more traditional Thanksgiving meals, as my family and my husband's family all invite us to their dinners, but we aren't into food that much. We prefer to snuggle up, watch movies and nap throughout the day or play games.

Pretty standard stuff - turkey, sausage stuffing (in the bird), mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, roasted broccoli and green beans and rolls. It’s just 6 of us (my family, my MIL and a friend of ours) and then my BIL and his wife come by for dessert (they’re bringing the pies).

A pre-dinner veggie tray
Turkey
Homemade stuffing (both in the bird and a separate casserole)
Mashed potatoes
Gravy
Dinner rolls
Homemade cherry-cranberry sauce
Pecan pie
Cherry pie
Vanilla ice cream
Dark chocolate ice cream
To drink, ginger ale and cranberry juice mixed

After the big lunch on Thursday, it’s everyone for themselves for the rest of the weekend. Sometimes we eat together, sometimes we don’t. Lots of leftovers to use up!

It is only 3 of us so we get a turkey breast or 2 as we have it for 3-4 nights. The other family members have food allergies and I found some non dairy recipes that can be with no salt or seasoning so we have a stuffing made in a crock pot, sweet potato casserole with marshmallows, corn bread muffins, green beans, jellied cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie.

The same thing we have every year:

Turkey (white meat only)
Mashed potatoes & gravy
Stuffing (in the bird)
Sweet potatoes (w/marshmallows)
Orange Jell-O (with grated carrots & mandarin oranges)
Cranberry sauce
Relish tray
KIng's Hawaiian Rolls
Pumpkin pie

Turkey/gravy
Real mashed potatoes
Green bean casserole
Sweet potatoes w/ chopped apple/walnuts
Herb Flavored stuffing ( I'll add some onion and celery)
Cornbread
Rolls variety
Mac and cheese ( Bob Evans works for us)
Homemade cranberry sauce
Jello/ my grandson will pick the flavor.
Pumpkin pie /whipped cream
My sister is making a Strawberry /pretzel dessert

added: a small Ham too / there's only 6 adults, 1 kid

I'm trying to decide what we want to do. We were going to be feeding 7-8 people, but the 2 other families ended up changing plans. Glad we hadn't gone shopping yet. So now it's just DW and I. We want to do some type of ham, maybe a green bean casserole for me, corn casserole for her, another veggies for both, rolls, pie. We were talking, and it might actually be cheaper just to go to Cracker Barrel instead of buying all that food for 2 people.

Starters: warm artichoke spinach dip with pita chips & a large charcuterie…2 meats, 3 cheeses & all of the fun accompaniments. Ie, crackers, jam, olives, almonds, berries….

Mains: 2 Turkey breasts done on the Traeger & a honey baked ham

Sides: Mashed potatoes, gravy, roasted sweet potatoes, pan seared green beans w/ bacon, stuffing, sourdough rolls, orange cranberry sauce
( making that now) & a harvest salad.

Desserts: pecan pie, pumpkin pie & a cookie trayIMG_2778.jpeg

DH is making - a turkey, 2 turkey breasts and the gravy

I’m making - cornbread casserole, candied sweet potatoes, the rolls and Butterfinger Bars

My mom is making - green bean casserole, stuffing and a chocolate cream pie

My MIL is making - mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese and is buying a pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake.

All this for just 11 people :faint:

On my table is a fall table cloth and a fall floral arrangement.

As for food. It is at DS's house. We'll see on Thursday.
I make Pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate chip cheesecake bars.
I will also be doing the mashed potatoes and gravy on Thursday morning before we go over ....and bringing a frozen Lemon Meringue pie.

Turkey
Sausage & apple dressing
Green bean casserole (+ regular green beans w/bacon bits)
Sweet potato casserole (with both streusel & marshmallow toppings)
Mashed potatoes
Gravy
Candied baby carrots
Mac-N-Cheese
Homemade yeast rolls
Cherry pie

My SIL is bringing an oatmeal cake (family recipe), pumpkin pie, & her special cranberry sauce. My nephew is a vegetarian, so I make sure to have enough alternatives for him too. It'll be our family and DH's sister & her family.

And... I'm really hoping to snag a couple of Sam's smoked turkeys on Friday at a reduced price! :cool1:
