What's on your souvenier shopping list?

Do you know where it is exactly that you can get the silhouettes? I don't know that DS would sit for one but I had one done of me when I was little (not at DL though) and i thought it would be neat to have one of him too.

I think it's a place called "Silhouette Studio", located on Main Street.:)

Oh, yes! I almost forgot...new Disney duds for the Build-a-Bears!

You can get them made at the Silhouette Studio on Main Street.

My shopping list for my December trip:

Mouse Ears for my niece & nephew...they've never been to Disneyland, and when I sent them postcards from my last trip, they sat and stared at the pictures and didn't believe that Disneyland is real and that you can meet Mickey Mouse there!

Mickey shaped Rice Krispy Treats, *** that's one of the "stocking stuffers" I give everyone for the holidays. Anything Mickey shaped + edible = the request I get when I ask friends/family, "what do you want from Disneyland when I go?"

omg how could i forget my build a bear i want eathier the pumpkin kitty i got in my email or a wolf both with skates lol i saw the cuteist thing last year and i wanted it (roudalph skateing ) it was so cute

*a silhouette of DS again... I'd ask them to do my belly too if I was going to be further along during our trip.
*a onesie for the new baby... and ears if we knew the sex by then :(
*a new pin book... ours is full.
*matching family tee shirts
*fudge, tigger tails, sweets of all kinds. (wonder how much will make it home!)

Nothing else really comes to mind, but I'm sure we will get more.

My cousin bought us some that we use right now ! They are mickey mouse head shaped and one is black and the other is white ;)

Those are the ones I want to get her! I bought her ones that were actually shaped like Mickey and Minnie and she got Mickey stuck in the in the window and chopped his head off... :sad2:

I really want to get a set of traditional mickey ears with my name stitched on it (I still don't have my own pair!)

 Me either!!! Booo. :guilty:

More pins; specifically pixar related ones (maybe mike wazowski;))

Speaking of Mike, I saw a picture of BTR this year and they had pumpkins shaped like Disney characters and they had one that looked like Mike!! :thumbsup2

HOLY COW !! Now thats a scary sentence  Hopefully she won't murder our beloved high pitched mouse this time !

You know, at Walgreens they're selling templates for pumpkins and you can buy a set of 5 that are pixar themed (one being mike!!) WWOOOOO !!!

here's my list so far...
magnet for fridge
sweatshirts/jackets for the girls
1st visit pins for the girls (although we won't have to buy these!)
shirts for me and DH
a big whirly lollipop for DD2
minnie plush dolls for the girls (and maybe another character or two if DD2 wants them)
lanyards
2008 christmas ornament
other food items for the in-laws when we get back

i'd like to do a family Silhouette, but not sure if dd2 and dd8months will be able to sit still through it.

Oh, just thought of another one. Can't forget to get our Disney Visa Meet N Greet picture taken. Are they still doing that? We try to get one every trip!

This is the crystals right we got one last year of melifcent. How long do you have to sit still for them to do them? we have thought about doing a family one. Or just get my son a dragon one

Ooh, I have a good list going for our December trip!

Oh-and can't forget the kids in my class who I'm leaving for two days for said trip. Pencils probably for them.

What a great idea. I was trying to think of something for my daughter to take back to her class (no candy allowed) and this is a fabulous idea for her to share with all her classmates.

Thanks! :yay:

I'm so glad someone else made this thread, I was starting to feel like maybe I was going overboard trying to pre-plan what I was buying! I still feel like it might be a wee bit much, but I DON'T CARE!!!! :rotfl:

Pressed Penny Book
Scrapbook/Paper
Christmas Ornament from DL and One from Department 56
Department 56 Christmas Village House
Sweatshirt
At Least 3 Coffee mugs (presents to bring back)
Hat from Universal Studios
Shot glass from Hard Rock Café
Shot glass from DL somewhere
Possibly a throw blanket if I can find one that's not cheesy

Rainforest, do you have the souvenir hurricane glass that comes with the Rainforest Ricky drink sold at Rainforest Cafe? The drink is yummy and the glass is cool...so given your name, I thought you must either have one already or SHOULD have one!

I don't... but Sherry, you bet your booty I'm going to get one of those!!!!! Our first dinner on our trip is at the RFC! I've never actually been there and I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks for the tip :)

Oh you're welcome! I am glad I was able to add to your souvenir list! Actually, if the drink were no good, I wouldn't even bother suggesting the souvenir hurricane glass, but it is a refreshing blend of all kinds of fruit juices (so it's good for an adult OR a child) and then you get the glass on top of it! Plus, the RFC has a nice little shopping/boutique area that has cute little magnets and knick-knacks, so you might find some more things to buy!

While I do very much enjoy the Chicken Fried Chicken at RFC for lunch or dinner, this time we are trying a breakfast at RFC (on Saturday morning), so we will see how that goes! I tell you, that restaurant is one of the ones to always make a PS for, because it is ALWAYS crowded! We also want to try to get seated near an aquarium this time. Last year we were next to a hot heat lamp, and the time after that we were next to the gorilla who comes to life every so often. This time, we want to sit near some fish!

i started a shot glass colection in 03. last year i didnt get one for some reason but this year i wanted to. I barely drink i just think they are cute and my friend (D&D gm) has a bunch, my mom and dad had alot too

This trip I want to get a couple of the Olszewski PokitPals. I bought the Matterhorn one last month, and I would like to get a couple more. They are very detailed. You can use them for mints, toothpicks, etc. And at about $20, I think they're a bargain. And they make great gifts. Here's a few of them:

http://www.olszewskistudios.com/DisneyPokitPals.php

There's a Tinkerbell one, another Tiki, and maybe a couple others too. In the next month or two, there will be new releases: a fire engine, Junge Cruise boat, the Columbia, and the original submarine.

also the small figurines in the trader packs i wanted to look at these and see if we wanted to start colecting them.
and something with pirates

dh wants to know where you find those in dl. i clicked the link he liked

On the receipt, it says Disneyana. It's a store on Main Street, and it's on the right when you're walking into the park. But they also sell them at World of Disney too.
