I actually read all four books. New Moon was HORRIBLE. 200 pages of Bella whining about missing Edward and then the last few pages featured Edward's attempted suicide by sparkle.

How did you make it through all four?! The first one was bad enough. Oh my goodness, he was trying to sparkle to death?

LOl, well, sort of. He was trying to expose the fact that he was a vampire by sparkling in the sun so that the Volturi [the vampire "police"] would have to kill him as punishment.

I have no idea. I just felt like I HAD to finish the series since I had started it.

Yes, in a way. He was going to sparkle to attract the attention of the Voultri *coughCatholicscough* who he hoped would kill him.

Of course, once we see the Voultri, we know that they would do absolutely nothing..
