you should definitely get them done, hannah! i was so so so scared before, but it literally hurts for less than a second, and only the tiniest bit. getting a papercut is more painful.

I am constantly fighting with myself if I want them or not. I don't really dread the actual thing, but the stinging afterwards. My friends say the sound of the piercing gun is the worst thing.

i hardly got any stinging at all. in fact, i don't think i got any. just don't touch your ears without washing your hands. when you first get them done, they'll go a bit red and hot, but it's just because they're not used to the earrings in there. the gun really isn't that bad! just try to ignore it. it just sounds a bit like.. i dunno, have you ever heard someone light a gas cooker before, and it goes clickclickclickclick? well that's the sorta click that it makes, but just once. wht they do is they clean your ear with an antibacterial wipe, and mark 2 dots on your ears (one on each ear) so they don't go wonky, and then when i had mine done, there were ladies on either side, so it was over in like, 5 seconds. max. they normally go 'one, two *click* three' and it's all over. i got mine done in claire's and it was totally fine. i would recommend getting them done in summer, because you can't take them out for 6 weeks, and at my school when we do pe, we have to take our earrings out. just make sure you use the ear cleaning stuff they give you every morning and evening to clear out the gunk and make sure that the earrings aren't stuck (by rotating them) and then they won't get infected and they'll be fine! (:

Almost done with English for the week. Next, Geometry. Tomorrow= American History and Spanish.

I had to switch Spanish classes because my teacher is TERRIBLE.

Thanks for the info! Honestly, my main worry is that all earrings have to come out for
cheerleading.....and I probably won't be able to do that. I'm one of those people who over thinks
things, and makes things seem worse than they are. I think if/when I do get them done, I will get them at Claires, too. They have cute earrings (:

that's okay (: you might be able to get away with putting tape on them? that's what i did. i think it's just so the earrings don't get caught on anything, so tape should work fine.
also, get earrings with a gold post when you get them done (:

I hope tape will work. I just need to keep earrings in, cuz I really don't want them to grow up. I would hate to keep on getting them redone.

well, the first time i had mine done, i took them out too quickly and put silver ones in, and they got infected.. so then the infection went away (it was nothing really haha) and i got mine redone last summer, and it was totally fine, again. i was like, peeing myself i was so so so scared, idek why. just leave them in. how long is your cheer practice? you might be able to take them out just for cheer and then put them back in straight afterwards? you'd need to leave them out for at least 10 hours-ish for them to start closing up.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THIS SONG SUCKS.

At first I was like "wooohooooo this is pretty good!"

but it sounds just like ALL her other songs, just worse. Did she really just say swag? How about no. Oh no, she said "swagger" hun, that sounds so stupid. This doesn't even sound like her... it's waaaay too autotuned. Rebecca Black sounds better than her... oh my gosh.

This is just torture.
