Story locations:
Old Key West - main characters staying here.
Main Street U.S.A. - Start point for the
D23 tour I made up...
Haunted Mansion - Character drops notepad, and accidently picks up sheet of paper from library/music room/dining room/wherever-you-can-find-paper-in-the-ride-since-I-haven't-been-on-it-before...
Fantasyland/Pinocchio's Village Haus - Early lunch & looking at paper. Reveals *secret something I haven't come up with yet*
Philharmagic - Paper directs characters here to collect a pair of glasses from the arm-rest of the seat directly in front of the french horn hidden Mickey. Putting on glasses reveals special paint only visible with the glasses (some sort of UV paint, probably). Things start to go crazy as the 3D effects become too realistic...
Small World - Just randomly brought up when a character says they won't ride it after what happens in Kingdom Keepers... Probably won't used for clues, as I wouldn't want to copy that book.
Other places in Magic Kingdom - Because I can't think of others atm!
Contemporary Resort - Clue from *place* leads to the 5 legged goat here. Glasses reveal words telling them to press the spare leg. Scaffolding is around the monorail platform as it is being refurbished, so one character crosses it and does just that, opening a compartment with a key of some sort, and the next clue about Epcot.
Fountain of Nations - Arrow on the fountain base points towards Test Track, with some clue about something special about the ride...
Test Track - I'll probably rehash that thing I wrote in that KK FF I never finished, where they almost crash into the barrier that opens. They get a clue from *special thing* about Journey Into Imagination.
Journey Into Imagination - Big set of mis-haps here. Train crashes into the vehicle, destroying the middle two carts, Figment throws sharpened letters at them, which narrowly miss them and get stuck in the wall behind, the giant butterfly is set free and attacks them, but is knocked unconscious by one of their bags, sleeping gas is released instead of skunk smell, and one of the characters breathes it in, falling asleep, then the track is turned upside-down instead of Fiment's house being upside-down, the figments inside try to grab and pull them out of the cart, which nearly happens to the sleeping one, and finally, Figment's line at the end, "You said it Doc, imagination is a blast!" happens literally as the computers that hide that final scene just explode, which rocks the vehicles and sends debris everywhere. (Major run-on sentence there!) The clue is hidden on something in the finale scene, which is IE:KP... Yeah, I've put a lot of thought into that one scene! Or they could have gotten the place wrong, which means they'll go to...
Mouseworks - My plan was for them to find the clue on a replica of Dreamfinder's machine thingy, buy I just check the ride-through and I couldn't see it there... One of you guys might know if it's in the ride or not! Anyway, there is a replica in the Mouseworks shop, at least there was last time I checked. So that's where the clue would be in this case...
Innoventions East - That's what the IE stands for, and the KP stands for Kim Possible. One of them puts their ticket (or a ticket gotten from one of the places I haven't mentioned. Hey, it could be behind the 5 legged goat! That solves that problem), and they get a special ticket for the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure.
England - Where the mission will start. Instead of being stuck in one country, it has a clue for each country in World Showcase, going clockwise (so Canada would be next). I haven't got a clue for each place yet, but here's a few I do know.
Mexico - Getting a photo of the Hidden Mickey that appears from the volcano plume every so often. Maybe the volcano will erupt after getting the picture, and seeing how everything else is going, it will be a hazard to their lives!
China - There's a special bowl in the shop called a spouting bowl (I think), where you can rub the handles, and water will jump about in it. When the characters use it, a special message is heard, which the Kimmunicator will decode as the next clue in Germany.
Morocco - There's a replica of a letter sent to George Washington by the King of Morocco at the time, about recognising the USA as a country. Morocco was the first country in the world to acknowledge the USA as a country. The final clue will be spelt out in this letter, as the words needed will light up.
France - I don't know what to use as a final clue, however the clue that leads out of Epcot appears here, as they are instructed to look into the camera that's used in the France KPWSA game, and to point their Kimmunicator at it. The image will change from showing the Eiffel Tower to showing the Morocco Pavillion. Wade mentions checking out the directory there, then they're instructed to put the Kimmunicator into one of the places you put them. They're confused about what to do next, until one of the characters notices the Tower of Terror in the background of the photo...
Tower of Terror - They look in the hotel directory in the queue, where the letters sometimes spell out "evil tower u are doomed", but sometimes it doesn't. Glasses reveal another clue leading to somewhere in the park. I could either have the ride go out of control, or the "chicken elevator" go out of control. The latter sounds more fun...
Walt Disney Story - After somehow living through the out-of-control elevator incident, they look for the biggest Hidden Mickey on Disney property. Takes a while, but they soon find it on the DHS map near the back of the exhibit, showing the Hidden Mickey as it can only be seen, from the air. It doesn't exist anymore since the placement of Sunset Boulevard and the hat, but the remnants are still there... Anyway, an arrow points to a random location on the map which didn't exist at the opening, and has the words "obey the sign" or something similar.
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular - They deduce the area is that attraction, and look for a sign. They find the one outside the well that says "DO NOT PULL", but with the "not" scribbled out. Each time the rope is pulled, there's a recording of a guy who ends up falling in, and what he says is different every time. After a while of pulling it, they come across an odd one about "leaving telescopes by the mountain".
Expedition Everest - There are two telescopes opposite the ride, both pointing to the mountain peak that is the real Everest (the biggest peak is the Forbidden Mountain), which gives off a sense of forced perspective. Glasses reveal the next clue is on that part of the mountain, but they can't see it through the telescopes, as they have no lens. Then one of them remembers the piece of glass they got at a previous place, so they use that, and sure enough, they can see the next clue which leads to somewhere I can't think of...
I don't think all of this can happen over one day, so I'd need some sort of resting point. I think it shall be one of the hotels between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Maybe they pick up something in the France Pavillion, which ends up being a room key to one of those hotels. What one has a view of the Tower of Terror? And maybe their room has something inside it that helps in their quest for whatever...
