And you are so right about the Lion King and Lion King 2:

The Lion King = Hamlet
The Lion King II = Romeo & Juliet

Except nobody dies or kills themselves! GO DISNEY! :goodvibes

I hate the sequels that have little segments as if they were part of an animated series. They would be fine as a show, but not as a sequel to the original.

The Tarzan and Hercules sequels were part of an animated series, just made up to look like a sequel. I believe the other ones were meant to be animated series, but were cancelled at the last moment, and the already made segments were put together to make a movie.

Cinderella 2 and Belle's Magical World are like that as well

But TLM2 came out in 2000.. so you didn't watch the first film until at least 2000? o.O
I used to watch it like everyday when I was little, haha. It was my favourite.

Probably before because I was very young before then and don't remember a lot from that time. I don't recall how old I was when I watched TLM2.

:scared1:

We must change this! I've only seen the sequel to Pocahontas so I'm in the same boat as you, but you MUST SEE MULAN AND THE LION KINGS! Mulan is wicked funny, Eddie Murphy is in it! The Lion King is brilliant and Lion King II is great. You have to see them!

I had no idea Belle's Magical World existed until yesterday so I tried to watch it. OMG! Its so hilariously dramatic! Well, the first segment anyway (as far as I watched). There's a great moment where Belle's looking out her window, crying, and Beast is standing on a balcony, just staring, and the music gets so loud and dramatic, the type that symbolizes the pain of two lovers being apart from each other. Why is this scene so dramatic?!? They're not with each other with because they had an argument about an open window...
