This is what I told the girl:

"You may have tried not to be rude, but you were. No, I don't sit around all day watching Ben 10. I don't watch a lot of TV and Ben 10 is one of the only shows I watch. Also, it takes me less then 30 seconds to find out if it is a new episode. It's called a TV Guide. I know when it comes on because it's been on the same channel and time for two years. Watching ONE half-hour show ONCE a week does NOT mean I don't have a life, thank you very much.
