This one camp I went to had "Home of the Palmetto Bugs" written on the mirror. (Which was exposed and outside, btw.)
Now, being young I had no idea what a palmetto bug was and was properly curious. I hoped to see one.

By the end of the weekend, I had figured out what a palmetto bug was and why I should hate them all.

That was a weekend of regrets.

I had a dream last night I was at some sort of Hogwarts camp and we played a pool version of Quidditch.

we get 1 week halfway through each term (semester) and we get 2 weeks at christmas and easter.

Let's see...I got out June 1st and go back August 12. Some schools here have already started.

I got out June 7th (well, technically june 9th, but i was a bad girl and skipped the last two days because i passed all my exams lol) and i go back august 25th.

So I got 78 days of summer vacation (aka over two months lol) you got... 71 days (I did that in my head so I'm not sure I'm right haha)

I got out May 24th and go back August 22nd and next year I get out around May 20t or 21st

we get 1 week halfway through each term (semester) and we get 2 weeks at christmas and easter.

Ah. We don't get any breaks between semesters, and we only get one week each at Christmas and Easter. Plus a few three-day weekends, and one or two four-day weekends. So that could explain it.
