Logan can't even begin to out how uncomfortable he is at the moment into words. The man interviewing him is horrible unfunny and laughs at his own jokes more than anyone in the crowd, which is packed to a point that Logan is pretty sure is not in line with the fire code. Logan doesn't know how anyone can stomach late night television. Making the rounds at late night shows has got to be Logan's least favorite part of all of this.
The host flashes Logan a smile and all Logan can focus on is how overly bleached the man's teeth are. They're so white that it looks unnatural. "So, it's well known that you're the son of power-couple Ginger Clark and John Mitchell. What was it like growing up in the spotlight?"
Truth be told, Logan isn't sure how he's supposed to answer that question. He knows that his childhood wasn't exactly normal because of his parents' careers in Hollywood, but it never seemed abnormal to him so he shrugs.
"Let me rephrase that," the host replies quickly. "Did you ever wish that you could have had a normal childhood? I mean, let's be honest here. Would you ever have broken into your own acting career if your parents had been librarians?"
Logan wants to tell the truth and agree that, yeah, he'd always wanted to be able to go to school with normal kids and all that he really wants to do is be able to go to college and become a doctor. However, that answer isn't on his publicist's list of approved answers and his parents would probably kill him if they knew that he was even thinking of deviating from that list.
"I love acting," Logan replies, fake grin plastered on his face. "I guess you could say that it's in my blood."
The answer sends the interviewer into a spiel about how Logan's parents had met on the set of their first movie together, Love and Loss, before becoming one of the most desired acting couples and falling in love.
Logan's heard the story a million times, but he doesn't believe it. If his parents were in love at one point, he's almost positive that they aren't anymore. Hell, he can't remember a time that his parents were talking much at home. Most of their interactions together seem to take place on the red carpet, when a camera's watching them.
