But why? Cups range in sizes D-: I found out there's a button to turn it all metric though, so it's all good. 1/2 cup of butter is 115g.

I want to make cherry cobbler, because that would probably bring out the taste of the cherries. Now to see if I have all the ingredients...

Good question, I don't know that's just always how we've done it. We don't use the metric system for some strange reason.
