It was late in the afternoon and school was out for a break. Usami didn’t have any work so they were going to go somewhere but they weren’t sure where they should go. “Hey Misaki how about we go to the Amusement park? It’ll be fun” Misaki looked at him with concern in his eyes.
“I guess but we aren’t going into the Ferris wheel”
“Aww why not?” Misaki looked at him.
“I don’t really want to be in a small place alone with you. That could be very disastrous.”
“I promise I won’t do anything really bad. Please.” Usagi-san gave Misaki that look that no one could resist
“Fine.” Usagi smiled but didn’t say anything else. They got the stuff they needed and went out the door.
“Hey Misaki how are we going to tell Takahiro?” Misaki has been dreading this question since he agreed to get married. He loved his brother but telling him he was gay and getting married was going to be a pain. He’d probably just make him move in with them and never speak to Usagi again.
“I’m not sure im really actually scared to tell him. I more afraid of what he’ll do when he finds out.” Usagi laughed
“Well Mr. Dense head might take it a little too far also.” Misaki laughed at the joke. He sighed he was actually getting married and at that to a man… “We’re here.” They got out of the car and walked into the park. “Hey Misaki what should we do first?” Misaki looked around.
“I don’t know whatever you want to do.” They walked around for a while looking at all the different people and pairs. Buying food and seeing which was the best. It was a normal Park day. They passed the Ferris Wheel and Usami stopped.
“Let’s do this please.”
“As long as you don’t do anything.”
“I won’t I promise.” They walked up and got into a car. There weren’t any lines around this time of the night because the people were going to find good seats for the fireworks. It started getting dark when Usami and Misaki’s car stopped at the top of the ride. “Boom,Boom” The fireworks had started.
“Oh there so pretty.”
“Misaki can I have one little kiss?”
“Why?”
“Because the stars are so pretty and the fireworks are pretty too”
“What does that have to do with me?”
“Well I’ve read that all couples have kissed under fireworks at least once.”
“Keep dreaming.”
“Please Misaki.” Misaki looked at Usagi-san who had moved over next to Misaki. Misaki was about to say something but before he could he was warmed starting from the lips to the heart by Usagi’s warm kiss. Misaki pushed back.
“I said no.” Usami laughed and sat back.
“Thank you.
“What did I do?”
“You gave me the best two years of my life. When I first met you I was content with keeping my feelings un-known from Takahiro. But that night when you cried in front of me FOR me I knew you were the one. I was right and ever since even though we may have gotten into a fight or two you were the one to pick me up. My life has been the best ever since.” Misaki was speechless but because he was Usagi kissed him again but this time Misaki didn’t fight back.
“Usami im sorry.” Misaki pulled back and looked at Usami tears streaking his face.
“Why are you crying?”
“I’m not crying I swear.” His voice didn’t give him any justice though. Usami reached up and wiped his tears.
“Oh so this is just rain water dripping down your face then? I don’t think so now tell me why your crying.” Misaki stood up and went to the window to look out. They haven’t started the ride again which was a good thing.
“When you cried on my shoulder that night I thought that I wanted to be your special someone. It was like that ever since. And that month that I had moved out I thought about what Nii-san would do if he found out. I don’t think I could bear to lose you even if I don’t want to admit it to you. If Takahiro found out and separated us I don’t think I could get through life. I never wanted to tell you any of this but when you said all that to me I couldn’t keep it in any longer.” Misaki turned around to face Usagi-san who look surprised.
“Misaki if Takahiro did something like that I would steal you back and move somewhere far away. Somewhere very, very far away.” Usagi embraced Misaki “Believe me if I ever lost you I wouldn’t be able to live any longer.” The ride had started up and they got out.
