Along with most students in her year, Olivia was extremely excited to be moving onto her second year at Hogwarts. Sure, being a first year was fun and all, but walking the halls as a big, bad second year was going to be even more pleasurable…or so she thought. Everything was going fairly well for the Hufflepuff until, to her horror, the notebook that held so many of her secrets seemed to disappear and found itself within the possession of one of the meanest girls she had ever had the pleasure to meet. Olivia tried countless times to get the book back from the thief but, due to a slight misunderstanding with a fifth year student and disabled wand usage, she was unable to do so.

The remainder of the year was spent wondering various areas of the castle in an attempt to forget the whole ordeal and when the opportunity came to partake in her very first ball, Olivia took it with open arms. The ’Come As You Aren’t’ ball was an opportunity for all students to become a person, creature, or object that was completely opposite of themselves…in more ways than one. Walking into the Great Hall, Olivia was dressed in a full Mountain Troll costume, club and all. She hated the outfit almost as much as she hated insects, for who in their right mind would ever want to be around a creature that was so ugly, dirty, and smelly? Regardless of her dislike, however, coming as any other creature or human would have defeated the purpose so she pushed her thoughts aside and walked into the room with as much confidence as she could muster.

Not long after entering, an extremely rare confidence filled Olivia’s entire body as her eyes fell upon the girl that had snatched her diary away earlier on in the year. Once again she attempted to get the book safely back into her hands, but all hope was shattered as the mountain troll costume transformed not only her physical being, but her mental being as well. The tiny Hufflepuff that was terrified of insects and spiders, despised dirt and germs, and loved chocolate as if it were contained within one of the four main food groups was suddenly twelve feet tall, a deep shade of gray, and smelled worse than all of the world’s dumps put together.

Once back in her proper mind frame, Olivia fell into a complete state of denial and tried with all her might to act as if the event had never happened at all. Her last weeks before the summer holidays were spend hidden away in the common room where she was safe from any unwanted gossip and chatter. The only thought that filled her mind as she left Hogwarts was the deep hope that the following year would prove to be better than the last. Only time will tell if her wish comes true.

lol, wow. I was updating my character library on this site because I hadn't had the chance to write on it in forever. My poor muse died a slow and painful death and it's just now starting to come back. Hopefully it'll stick around for a while.
