What's on the horizon for DLR?

Tentatively planning a mid April visit so have been perusing the DL forum and have noticed some comments about construction and rehabs. What's on the agenda in DL and DCA that I should be aware of? Our proposed dates are 4/16-4/21. Any way of knowing what will be open/closed when we're there?

TIA

At this point, we know that the attractions and shows on the Rivers of America (Tom Sawyers Island, Mark Twain, Columbia, Canoes, Rafts, and Fantasmic!), along with the Train are down for at least an year due to prep work for Star Wars Land. They do have the trains out to be looked at, but they are not in operation. Likewise, I believe the Columbia is in dock and you can look around, but it's not "sailing" at this point. Also closed is the Autopia, but rumors indicate it'll re-open in early April. The Jungle Cruise is also currently closed and no re-opening date has been announced yet. Otherwise, I don't know what else will be closed in late April, but DLR isn't known for posting their refurbishment information very far in advance. I would guess you'll get your first sense of what might be closed when they start posting the operating calendar about 45-days/6-weeks in advance.

Thanks! We'll be sorry to miss F! But have seen it before in WDW so not a deal breaker and neither is the RoA stuff assuming it's not totally disruptive to the crowd flow. What about BTMRR? I thought I read somewhere that it is also under construction?

Since the rehab info is not released too far in advance, I guess we'll plan it as if we're going but if, at 45 days out, it starts to look like too many impacts to what we wanted to see/do, we'll reschedule for another time.

BTMRR is not closed, but the trail between Fantasyland and Fronteirland (where BTM BBQ was) is closed.

The BTMRR attraction (roller coaster) is still open, but the Big Thunder Ranch (petting zoo and BBQ) and Festival Area have been permanently closed. As mentioned, the Trail that goes from FL (by Pinnochio's Village Haus) to Frontierland (near BTMRR) has also been closed off (not sure how long that closure will last).
