Hello...

We haven't been to wdw since 2006 (GASP! ) and we're going back this summer.

What new restaurants or new meals have come about since then? I have the 2008 UOG and there are a few things that it says are "coming soon"...like something in Italy and something in AK...

I'd love to hear what's new and what you thought of them!

Thanks. :)

Beth :dance3:

I think Ragalan Road is fairly new at Pleaseure Island area -- GREAT Irish food and environment.

The Yack and Yeti is a new buffet experience at the AK -- havent tried it yet, but it is new.

Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining are new and improved versions of the old Japanese Mitsukoshi restaurants in Japan. Similar experiences, new menus and environments.

The Wave is a new upscale dining experience at the Contemporary Resort set to open soon -- although I can't find a true opening date. I would guess no later than mid May 08.

Maybe some others can help out more?

Cheers,
Josh

I am not sure when T-Rex opens in DTD, but it is suppose to open either in the summer or fall of 2008. The place is owned by Rainforest and then it is themed of dinosaurs. When I called to make my ADRS about 3 wks they still had no info on opening dates though, they told me to keep calling back and checking.

I don't know if there's a way to go this info on the DIS website, but if you go to Disney's website - I'm not quite sure how I got to it, but there's a tab for 'your experience' and one of the options is a what's new. They used to have a more interactive feature, but now you can only choose"last year, last five years, ... But I think you'll find what you're looking for there.

One thing that's cute and easy to miss is the new atrraction at MK. It's the new Monsters, INC laugh show. Just try to think of a *clean* joke to text message before you go! :)

It doesn't list the new Yak and Yeti restaurant. That just opened in AK.
