The orange sling bag? Tom got that just days before our very first trip together in 2006 from Old Navy. I think it cost him $3 and it's been the best!! We use it on every trip. It weighs nothing and it's so easy to store all our junk!

I actually bought a Vera Bradley hipster which I am very excited to use on the upcoming trip but I have a feeling that 2 days into the trip, I'll be back to using that sling!

I know, aren't they awesome! She is so talented!

I'm having a good weekend so far. I've been making chocolates for a friend's bridal shower. It's very tedious but fun! Making little designs on wedding cakes and all.

School is not out yet. One more full week, then 3 days. Last day for kids is the 23rd, 24th for teachers.

How cool is that!!! Can't wait to see them on you!

Ah! That was what I referred to as my "excursion bag!" I bought it specifically for the cruise. It was also from Old Navy...last year when they went through their nautical phase (which was just in time for my cruise!)

The Authors Tea was wonderful, I'm sure. As a parent, I know I always loved them. They were so sweet. I am so glad this is the LAST full week- and it is sooooooooooooooooo busy- I have something every night- tomorrow night I'm being installed as the PTA Pres, and i think I'm just going to get busier after that!! But I am looking forward to doing it.

Oh- I am DEFINITELY havin them made!!! They are spectacular!!! I am so thankful to you for posting pics of YOUR fabulous shirts!!

And yes- I am officially the PTA Pres- I'm very excited about it- I was installed last night along with the officers- very, very busy already!! June is just a super busy month to begin with-as you know- and when you throw in all these additional commitments, it's even crazier! But I'd rather be really busy than really bored, and in a week I can strongly commit to a life of pool lounging and baseball game watching. I've already gotten to meet soooo many nice people (parents and staff) I never would have known this way without being President- so it's all good! Just a little tiring right now as old commitments overlap new ones.

And i was thinking.... Ya know....we STILL need to get together sometime.... can you do before your trip? Or after?

5 days!!! Well 6 for me. The exactly one week until we leave for WDW! Yes, let's definitely get together. Did you ever see Alice? We watched it last week and I gotta say, I did NOT love it! I'm a big Burton fan (and Johnny Depp, of course) but it was odd, even for him. And not odd in a good way, odd in a "this doesn't make any sense at all".....but then again, maybe that was the point? Just hard to follow and not enjoyable to watch. Oh well!

Well, I have that week before the trip...I need to pack and do some school work in advance so I don't have to take any with me on vacation!! (That's the good thing about the online courses....all of my assignments are available on day 1!) So I'd love to say that we can get together that week but I'm just not sure how overwhelmed I'll be. I'll keep you posted!

BTW, do you have PTA pres. meetings, like with other PTA presidents, I mean? One of my parents just became School One pres. I've had her sons two years in a row! Very lovely and fun woman!
