Its my parents 25th Wedding anniversary and they have said instead of having a party they would like another family trip to WDW ....oh all right then;)

There wedding anniversary is the 11th June - whats it like this time of year? Weather, crowds etc? Im used to the peaceful low crowds in September so im guessing im going to be in for a shock?

its nice and hot,but the down side is that as hurracane season starts 1st of june it will be humid.Dont be alarmed by the turm hurracane season as it rare to get them early.Crowds will be a lot heaver than in september. But you will still enjoy yourself

Weather is just starting to really warm up for the summer though not as humid as July.
Crowds difficult to say, US schools break up in mid June for the summer holidays, I suspect it will get steadily busier throughout the month.

Hurricane season doesnt tend to bother me now that ive experienced one in Orlando...that said im not in a hurry to add a second to my list.

If US schools break up mid June i guess it would be better to go first 2 weeks in June? I think there is some sort of US holiday at the end of May?

we have been last week of may/first week of june and have found it the perfect time to vist, just dont let DH wear a red t shirt in MK:rotfl:

Early June would be better Laura yes, not as busy and not quite as humid also.

Hi,
We have just come back:sad2: (9th-23rd ) and the weather was brilliant-if anything a bit too hot!!
Every day it was forecast thunder storms/rain but we only actually got rain once (and boy, was it welcome:cool1: ) We were at blizzard beach and they closed the park due to the impending t-storms (the kids thought it was brilliant walking around in their costumes in the rain but still being really hot) but it went as quick as it came and within half an hour it was beautiful again.
The crowds were bigger than we have experienced before (been in Feb,March & July) although I think the weather made it feel busier, as it was sooo hot it kind of made you a bit less patient while waiting. However, we did stay at the royal pacific for one night and got the front of line passes ( which were a god-send and we did feel very special by-passing all the queues -highly recommend doing this if you are visiting universal...we wish we had stayed for more than 1 night then we could have enjoyed the hotel as well... defo do this next time !!!).
I don't know if we were lucky with the weather we got but, I would defo go again in June.

Last weekend of May is Memorial Day = busy!
First weekend of June are the Gay days (they wear red t-shirts)

We were wondering the same too (going first 2 weeks of June or end May = first week of June), based on all the info we found here we decided we'll be going end of May beginning of June 08.

Weather is HOT :cool2:

Crowds are busy, make sure you plan well.

We went first 2 weeks in June last year and the parks were heaving on the days we went but we did not plan !

We got back yesterday and yes the parks were very busy, but we did not wait more than 20 mins to get on a ride and used fast passes for everything over that. We went on all the major rides.

I didn't really plan other than ADR's, for us the best way was to get there at park opening, DH & DS went on Test Track, Mission Space & Soarin in 1/2 hr last week.

The weather also seemed less humid than I remember & we only had 1 very mild storm

Always found that good at any time of year
