We went this past May and it was near perfect. We are thinking about Feb for 2006. How does it compare as far as crowds, weather, park hours?

Hello -

My Husband and I just went to WDW in February 2005 over Valentine's day. Let me tell you, it was wonderful. It didn't rain and I was able to wear shorts. Just make sure you bring a jacket and jeans for night time. As far as crowds, I didn't notice that it was bad. Times.. it closes ealier. During the week it varies 6pm-8pm or so. But it was fine. You can go to Downtown Disney, the Boardwalk, mini golf, etc. For us it was great because I was able to rest after it closed because I was sick. Found out when I got home that I had strep throat. Lovely.

We went the first week of February 2005 - I think it was the 2nd through the 9th? It was kind of chilly, but definitely tolerable compared to our Midwest winters! Through the week we had a great time, but the cheerleaders/dance teams/under-supervised packs of little girls kinda made the weekends at the parks suck.

I went in feb in 2001... it was gorgeous weather.. not as humid but still in the 70s and sometimes 80s.. we still swam at night as it never went below the 60s that I remember. The lines were very short and it was even valentine's week!

Here's a link to park hours for the past few years:

I want to point out that while I'm happy the above posters had great weather (for the most part), February weather in Orlando is unpredictable. You should pack everything you own because you could have days in the 80s and/or mornings in the 30s.

Crowds will be light as long as you avoid President's Day weekend and the few days after the holiday.

Thanks for the advice. We are looking at the week of Feb 25th - March 4th, so maybe it will be a little better towards the end of the month. Unpredictable is what I was thinking it would be. Thanks,
chrissy
