What's it gonna be like first week of easter holidays?

So I'm looking at dates, hotel new york is comming up good price, for first week of easter holidays, Monday 31st of March for 4 nights.

BUT...

How busy is it at that time? Is it easter holiday in France too? We went in march this year, but it was the middle of March and it seemed fine, but don't know if it's any different at easter or not.

Thats not Easter next year - Easter falls on 20th April next year. French school holidays start on 12th April next year, and stagger through to 12th May -

In England, school holidays for Easter will likely also be staggered through April ie my daughters school is off from 7th April and they return to school on 22nd.

I checked local school holidays here, and that's our first week off, so I just assumed england would be the same
