What's included at Teppan Edo on the DP?

You can order any of the appetizers, entrees, and desserts. I'm not sure about the sushi being available as your appetizer (didn't come up for us). Green tea is served before dessert and the regular drink options are available. On another thread someone said that the combo entrees weren't an option for the ddp, but that wasn't our experience as I ordered the chicken and steak (yummy btw). HTH

You don't say when you're going so let me just remind people.....if you're on the 2008 dining plan, NO appetizers are included at any restaurant. Entree, drink and dessert only. They took away the appetizer and gratuity.

Thanks so much kidsgobears, thats what I needed to know. Glad to hear that the combination entrees are allowed because that's what we've always gotten in the past (when we paid OOP) and I was going to be disappointed if they were off limits this time on the DDP.

And thanks to you too theparsons, we'll be there for Christmas '07 so we'll still get to enjoy the "full plan".

Now I suppose I'll just have to wait till I get there to find out if the sushi is an option or not.

Really!?! When I called to make dining ressies today, I was told that Teppan Edo was not included on the dining plan! :confused3 I take it she was mistaken.

I think she was mistaken. I just made a ressie yesterday and got Teppan Edo for the Candlelight package and I was told it was 1 TS credit. Tokyo Dining is not on the dining plan. I'd call back if I were you. :)

We ate here Saturday night. When we said we were on the DDP our waitress simply said we were entitled to an appetizer, an entree and dessert. She made no mention of the sushi being excluded as an appetizer. HTH.
I thought Teppan Edo was even better than before. I like the new decor. I thought it was modern and elegant at the same time DH, however, thought it was louder than in the past. Our dinner was wonderful and we all had combination meals. The salad is much larger than in the past and very fresh. The Tempura was very good and is a nice addition. We had a great dinner.
I had heard that Teppan Edo had not yet signed up for the 2008 Dining Plan. Maybe that is why you were told it was not on the plan. It signed on a bit later in 2007, so I would not despair.

Hmmm, my husband is really wanting the sushi appetizer.... anyone know for sure whether or not it's included?

We have ressies for Jan 18 with the DP, but they still have not signed on as of Mon. The man I spoke to said to try to hold on to Jan. 1 and they might sign on by then. Yikes...that's cutting it close for my likes. I'm stressing about getting another good ressie in case they do not, but we really want to eat there. :scared:

Speaking of Tokyo Dining, do they take ADRs? My BF loves sushi, and I love the hibachi style, so this might be a good fit for us. He does not like to sit at the cooking tables...he thinks the chefs are showing off :confused3 :sad2:
