What's in your disney park bag?

DH and I just use a small backpack. This year we'll have a small expandable tri-pod, sunscreen, camera, sunblock lip balm, hand sanitizer, Excedrin, wallet, and wet-wipes.

We try to carry as little as possible. We won't take the tri-pod to the parks every day, but on some days we will.

I usually go through security with the bag and he just does walk in. It's a grey backpack with Grumpy on it, so we take turns wearing it. Works out great for us.

Since when I'm going to the parks its normally just me or some extended family and I, and we are somewhat local (2 hr drive or so). I bring a small crossbody bag... I'm sure when I get married and have children this will change.

I bring:
Phone
VB Zip Id Case with id, ticket, cc, dc
keys
magic band (on wrist)
small tylenol container
chapstick
back up charge (super small)
Disney Wrist Gift Card (normally on wrist)
Sunglasses w/Croakies (so normally around neck).

When I was younger I remember I use to bring a drawstring backpack but I use to get burns from the ropes cutting into my shoulders...

We leave in two weeks so over the last few days I've been setting things aside for this! I carry a small cross-body purse. In it I have:

*Wallet with cash that we use for tipping
*My plans for the day on paper
*Gum
*Chap stick
*Hand lotion
*Hand sanitizer
*Advil
*Tums
*iPhone
*Portable phone charger
*A few band-aids
*Hair ties and bobby pins

I use the travel size for the medicine and lotion/sanitizer so none take up much room.

I've used a Vera Bradley mini hipster and for our next trip I bought a Overland Equipment Pixley (new style) which is also a small crossbody.

I'll carry my phone, sunglasses, lip balm, band aids, some cash, a cc and DVC card.

I seem to change it up each time I go. Last year I had my DSLR in as small a camera bag as I could find, with just the essentials, but it still weighed a lot, so i'm switching this time. To start, I didn't want to bring the camera this year (too much shoulder pain) so I decided to purchase memory maker and then take pics with my phone. So i got a small crossbody bag from Kohls because i wanted something that i wouldn't be crushed if it gets damaged. I try to pack light with just phone, sunglasses, my ID, a credit card, at least a $20 (takes up no space and good to have in case of an emergency), lip balm, a couple of band aids, advil, and a small water bottle. My friend is going to be bringing a bigger bag (she cares more about form than function, so crossbody was out of the question haha) and she will be carrying the sunscreen for both of us and possibly a snack or two.

I've changed up my bag, but have settled on a mini backpack.

I have slots for id/cards, some cash, a tiny little bottle of eye drops, antibacterial wipes, tissues, a little Ziploc bag with a little first aids, travel size Lysol, my son's daily meds and diastat, cell phone, camera, car keys..... if we dont take the stroller, I can also add two rain ponchos and sun screen.... all in a tiny bag.

We do have the stroller to carry jackets and larger items.

I have a full size crossbody backpack. I have a bum shoulder so I need something that doesn't sit on it. DS is also a puker so I need to be able to pack clothes for him we leave in 8 days and right now I plan:
-advil
-moleskin
-mini glide stick
-eye drops
-travel sunblock
-2 or 3 bandaids
-small pack of baby wipes
-tissues
-ID, about $20 cash, health insurance card
-chapstick
-portable phone charger
-change of clothes for DS
-camera

It sounds like a lot but except for the clothes, it all basically fits in a sandwich bag. It also depends which camera we bring that day, our larger bridge or the waterproof point and shoot.

Hmm. We bring a canvas back pack with the strings and stuff. we usually carry a refill mug, vinylmation (to trade) a cell phone (or two), a brush and my camera when we go on wet rides. :)

a small backpack that can be put under the stroller or carried, with:

travel case of bandaids
travel case of advil (the small tube kind)
sunglasses
VB zip wallet with cash, CC's, DVC card, small paper with reservations written down, ins card (just in case)
$1 ponchos for as many are in our party for the day- usually 3-5
gallon size ziplock bag to put wallet, phones in during wet rides and rain
travel size sun block
phone

if we have the baby:
epi pen
a few quarters and pennies for the penny machines
a change of clothes for the little guy
autograph book, 2-3 pens of different colors
snacks that are allergen free
-The stroller also has it's own rain poncho and stroller lock in the basket underneath

anything else I figure I can buy or go back to the room for

purse with only one zipper opening (easy for security)
not fond of cross overs, love small purses that hang on arm like this

phone
phone charger/battery backup
smokes/ lighter
lip stick
poncho/sunscreen (depending on weather)
payment of sum kind
band-aids and headache meds, just couple not whole pack

Im not a pack mule

I posted this on another thread but:

The one thing I packed that might be considered odd is a pill box in my park day bag... i used it for pills

But no what I did was take and put all the over the counter meds we might need.. advil, pepto, benadryil in the kid and adult version in different day slots then write with a fine sharpie what they were and what the dosage was. Now i dont have to lug alot of bottles around and I dont have to worry about over the counter meds in the park.

I do this for our day trips to our local theme park and it alway works out very nicely

- Phone
- Charger
- Wallet
- Lip balm
- Sunscreen

I try not to pack much :-)

I've taken to wearing cargo pants/shorts so I don't need to carry a bag. The things I always bring are:

iPhone
Battery charger
Lip balm
A few band-aids
Eye glass cleaning cloth
Magic band
ID, credit card, cash, DVC card
OTC/prescription meds
Hair bands
I carry a water bottle in my hand.
A handful of pins

Not carrying a bag allows me to skip bag check!

Well, I was there last August with 2 friends, and in my bag I carried: poncho, sweatshirt, camera, gum, granola bars, wallet, extra camera battery, hand sanitizer, tissues, pen, ressie cards, nail file( my nails tend to rip off) floss, chilly pad, that's all I can remember now:)

All the above plus a little cash.

Am I the only one who finds it harder to keep the things down to a minimum in the winter? I feel like i always need 10 extra things in the winter i.e. hand cream, cuticle cream, gloves, more intense chapstick, etc...

I usually carry a small crossbody bag. I try to bring as little stuff as possible into the park, but the essentials for me are:

Medication: prescription pills/advil (I downsize these to small pill boxes)
Credit Card, License, Cash (I don't bring my full wallet with me)
Sunscreen for when I need to reapply throughout the day
Phone
Extended Battery Charger
Water Bottle
Compact
Poncho
Light Sweater

On days where it is super hot and we know we will be sitting to watch a parade, one of us will bring a towel to sit on. We forgo the towel on other days.

I usually have a hat, sunglasses, and extra hair ties on me as well but I usually just wear those on my person, rather than pack them up.

I use a small zippered pouch on a string. It fits in my pocket (for bag check time), but can be worn cross body for comfort.

In it is: room key, credit card, health insurance card, cash, comb, chapstick, phone.

A tiny fold up umbrella goes in my back pocket, regardless of the weather. I like shade.

The pouch is an older simpler version of the Eagle Creek silk undercover neck wallet.

If I can help it, I don't bring a bag into the parks. I get to skip the bag check and I don't have to worry about where to put my bag on coasters or water rides. I stick my iPhone in one pocket, my ID and debit card in another, and my Magic Band on my wrist. That's really just about it!

That said, I come well-prepared so I don't have to carry things. I cover up with sunscreen, wear a hat, and have preventive band-aids on to prevent blisters. I also get water with every meal instead of a soda so that I stay hydrated. Florida heat is no joke, especially in the summer!

We've never been yet, but, I have a baggallini that I use when we go to other places for vacation. I can fit just about everything in there.

Never would have thought about bringing a cell phone charger! Thanks for the idea!!
