Some things I always include.....
glo sticks/those night "twirly" things (I purchase before we go!)
in summer, those little portable personal battery fans
extra batteries
single use cameras for the kids to take whatever pic's they want
Non-Disney non-yellow ponchos (it's tough to see my kids when there's a sea of yellow!)
Tylenol
band-aids
Change of socks for kids/flip flops
soft picture/sticker books (for the kids to look/play with in long line or while we're waiting for food or the parade)
Autograph books, large pens
Change for the coin morphing machines
Sunscreen
towel(s)
Garbage bags (to place on the ground if it is wet for parades)
Ziploc bags
Bug spray (as needed)
Water bottles (usually attached on the outside)
Any coupons/maps/schedules
My current copy of the UG!

In the locker or in the bag if there's enough room...sweatshirts/pants/change of clothes for the little one.
We still have one small enough to use a stroller (or a wagon when we're not at Disney) so alot of this stuff just gets put in or hung on the stroller. Though, frankly, don't take a whole lot less when we go without her.
Tell me your secrets.

Well it depends what we're doing for the day. I usually have my (keep in mind I'm 14..LOL) digital camera, makeup, my cell phone, and glasses just incase my contacts get messed up.

GL to my mom.. she's gonna bring her Louis Vuitton this next trip.. GL MOM! LOL

camera
camcorder
sunscreen
glow sticks/light up twirly things
aleeve/sinus medicine
bandaids
autograph book/pen
some type of agenda/notes/plans for day/parks
tickets
change for penny pressing machines (in decorated film canister)
money

I try to carry as little as possible. I usually have my camera (this is the first year we are going with a digital, so before we would also have lots of rolls of film), batteries for the camera, my cell phone, park tickets, autograph book, pen, money, umbrella, aspirin/migraine medicine, id, and I think that's it.

Yeah, I'm with you, I use a fanny pack and travel as light as I can.

Sunscreen
cell phone
tickets
pens
money
park map
camera and batteries
water bottles (got the fanny pack with holders for them :earsgirl: )
epi-pen (for my bee allergy, can't go anywhere w/out it)
some small number of snacks (granola bars)

My fanny pack has the cords on the outside, for strapping on the sweatshirt I always seem to need at 7AM, but never at 10AM.

Oops, forgot that we always bring the walkie talkies, too.

I used to bring a fanny pack, but now I bring a small messenger bag and this last trip it carried:

ponchos
wet wipes
advil
first aid kit (bandaids, anti-itch cream, moleskin, folding scissors, and tape)
extra batteries + extra memory cards
bandana (DS uses it as a mini-blankie and other uses)
compact tripod
2 autograph books, 1 fat pen
trading pins
kleenex
purell (small travel size)
lotion (purloined from the hotel :teeth: )
APs, IDs, room key, medical insurance cards
small notebook (very small)

that's it.

The less I have to lug around, the better. To the park, we take:

Three bags. One is the small video camera bag, one is the very small digital camera bag with strap. Those bags are small and light and easy to take on rides if necessary. The third bag is bigger, but not too big, and has a long strap so it's easy to carry or hang off the back of the stroller. This is what I put in that bag:

Change of shorts for daughter in case she has an accident
Small zip top bag with makeup and chapstick
Cell phone
Sunscreen
Small brush
Sunglasses
Blue rain ponchos

• Digi cam w/ extra batteries and memory card
• Tylenol
• wallet (duh)
• sunblock
• hairband
• lipgloss
• antibacterial
• a non-yellow poncho
• cellphone

We have three kids and the littlest is still in diapers, so here's what I carried in my tote bag:

my 3 yr olds Epi-Pens/Benedryl/Inhaler
kleenex
napkins
baby wipes
2 diapers
hand wipes
chap stick
small mirror
band aids
bendy straws
a few small ziploc baggies
sippy cup for youngest
some small snacks for youngest
wallet w/ money and passes, DDE card, room keys...
cell phone
my list of things to do and buy/AR #'s
Extra paper and pen
park maps and schedules
Autograph book(s)/pen(s)

That's all I can remember right now! :)

I take my pocketbook size backpack (not the big ole' LL Bean one), and I'll usually jam in there:

Brita water bottle
travel size Purell
camera
film
blister care kit
room key
money
cell phone
DD's sunglasses
tissues
park map
umbrella (although I bought one recently that can attach to the straps on the outside)
and last but not least, any snacks that will fit!

and also our yellow ponchos! We take the Mickey ponchos cuz we like them, but the non-yellows help you identify your crew in the sea of yellow ponchos!

Just curious -- why non-yellow?

Because I don't wanna look like a walking banana.

travel sized wet-ones--They are anti-bac so I skip the santitizing gel.
Camera
key to the kingdom
cell phone
wal-mart ponchos
extra sunscreen
trail mix--has sweets and savories so we just pick out what we want!

I leave out the bandaids, tissues, and tylenol. I can get those from the bathroom and first aid stations. I always take a dose of tylenol when I get up anyway. My back is always killing me when I am on vacation.

For the first half of our trip, I took a waist pack which included:

  • bandaids
  • motrin
  • hand sanitizer
  • hand lotion
  • license
  • room key
  • few dollars in cash
  • el cheapo ponchos
  • water bottle strap
  • map & Times Guide

DD(9) carried a waist pack with her autograph book, poncho, and kleenex.

DH carried the camera bag with the camera, extra batteries, & his room key.

Later in the week I went to Walmart and got a small backpack for like $5 and put the camera in it, plus all the stuff I had in my waist pack and better ponchos since we got some heavier rain through the week. That little backpack was a good investment! Not heavy at all and enough room for even two water bottles.

I bring my wallet and my sunny disposition! :sunny:

FYI to all you non-yellow poncho carriers. WDW has done away with the yellow ponchos and now sells clear ponchos with the same Mickey printed on them. I've heard that they changed them because of complaints from parents losing their kids in a sea of yellow (eww!).

My bag contains:
sunscreen
digital camera
extra batteries
35mm camera (for those extra nice shots)
tickets
room key
wallet
cell phone
walkie talkies (depends on who all is on the trip)
towels
flip flops
hat
sunglasses
money
snacks
portable (battery operated) fan
park maps
autograph book
large pen
water bottle
receipts for all purchases
usually a piece of paper with PS times on it
a yellow disney poncho (I like to blend in...though I do wear my hat over the top to keep the hood up)
