whats in your back pack

ponchos (since I started carrying them, we get caught in the rain less!)
digital camera
hand sanitizer
sunscreen and lip balm
epi-pen and inhaler (allergic to nuts and asthmatic)
Yankees hat for the bright sun
sunglasses
park maps
ADR confirmations
wallet, park tickets and room key
Advil

That's about it, but I'm sure this thread will give me some good ideas!

Whoa. Spooky. Aside from the hand sanitizer, this is exactly what I carry, down to the Epi-pen! All of my confirmations and ADRs and such are in my PDA, which is also my phone.

Chapstick
Clips for hair
Shout wipes
Anti bacterial hand lotion
Diapers, Wipes & Disposable Changing Pad
Camera
Extra batteries
snacks
Variour medicines
Room Key, money, tickets, ID (in a ziploc baggie)
Cell phone
Wet Wipes
Mini Sunscreen
Bandaids
Blister block
Sippy Cups
Cell phones
autograph book & pen
ADR confirmation numbers

It sounds like a lot but really it doesn't take that much room. Most of it is in individual packages. Many people have called me Mary Poppins. I seem to have whatever is needed.

I carried:

a cell phone
Wallet
ADR info
Digital Camera
two large ziplock bags
three autograph books
pens
water bottle
park tickets

The large ziplock bags were for the camera and pal mickey (which my kids carried), for when it started to rain. I also ended up with lanyards and mickey ears in my bag on more than one occation.

I'm thinking about getting a smaller digital camera, that fits into my pocket, and going bagless next time.

I think that's a great idea. I found that my larger SLR was so inconvenient that I left it in my bag and missed a bunch of photos. I got one of the smaller point and shoots and it works great. Don't forget to bring batteries and memory cards, though.

I try to cover the basics, but not go overboard:

-bandaids
-lip balm
-money/disney dollars
-park pass
-driver's license
-suntan lotion
-bottle of water
-advil
-pepcid ac
-camera
-compact umbrella (this is a MUST... cannot tell you how many times everyone I was with laughed their heads off that I brought an umbrella, and then it rained and they were soaked and I was dry hehehehe :thumbsup2 )

my Capital One Card
lunch consisting of:
sandwiches for 5
chips
desserts
2 bottles of Dasani
fruit
video camera
digital camera
autograph books x 3
First day in the parks we brought the UG, but never again. I think it weighs about 10 pounds and gets heavier throughout the day.
handgun
change of socks for the kiddies
car keys
mickey hats

That is funny. I realy was not surprised by the handgun I have seen some of your other post, but I am wondering why the change of socks.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

1. The change of socks is for when our socks get wet. It seems to happen more often than not due to rain, Splash Mountain, Kali River, etc. It doesn't solve the problem 100%, but it does make things more bearable without having to leave the parks.

2. I'm trying to figure out what I've said in other posts to make me seem like a gun-toting DISer.

Packtowl (face size)
KTTW's
digital camera
cell phone
some cash
sunglasses
hydropack (waterproof bag for cell/fast pass)

Since our last trip my youngest is out of diapers and no longer uses sippy cups, so this trip should be a lot lighter!!! ::yes::

What we carry in our backpack:

Digital camera in a ziplock
Extra Camera
Pal Mickey
Wipes
Suntan lotion
Autograph books and Sharpie markers
Small Mag light for the little guy (he doesn't like all dark rides) :)
Park Maps
Rain Ponchos
Small handheld fan
Bandaids, meds, moleskin
Small umbrella
Extra Ziplock bags
Change of socks for each person
Snacks
Press penny books
Clean washcloth from resort room in a Ziplock
Glow Sticks
Disney Walkie-Talkies
Disposable camera for kids

DH ususally carries the backpack.

I wear a fanny pack with money, debit card, Disney Dollars/gift cards etc. Face powder, lip balm, small hand lotion, eye glass cleaner wipes. Index cards with park hours, parade times, ADR info listed on them, and laminated.

Kids wear their own fanny pack with a small Disney handheld fan, a snack, tissues. And they wear a Guest of Honor Badge that on the back has my cell phone # and what resort we are staying at. :thumbsup2

OK! Well, I haven't packed my bag yet, so I am just assuming.

Here's the list:
Mini-bottle of sunscreen (this came as a free sample with another sunscreen, I plan to refill it as it needs more)
Mini-bottle of hand sanitizer (sp) (got this at Target)
2 cell phones (mine and my boyfriend's)
small wallet (credit cards, Disney Rewards Card, cash)
a little ID pouch (I got this from my college, it has several pockets to keep IDs and emergency money, tickets, fastpasses, etc)
bottle or 2 of water
lip gloss
Passporter's
Mini-brush

I think that's it.

Edit: Also my camera, memory cards, and extra batteries! DUH! How could I forget those! ;)

camera (and film)
a small towel
chapstick
wallets
cell phone
sunscreen
Pressed Penny Collection
Pins we are not trading (obtained that day at the park)
Any other souvenirs we buy that day

Oh my, I would NEVER forget those. Our july trip, I downloaded the photos onto my computer, and I had over 3000 from our 8 day trip. But, the camera is quite bulkly, and even though I LOVE it, I need something smaller for Disney.
