What's Happening with Innoventions?

I wonder what will happen with tiering at Epcot once Olaf's River of Tears (OROT) opens. I'm sure it will be popular, but so will the A&E M&G. It would blow if TT, Soarin, A&E, and OROT were all tier 1. For us, that leaves two things that we have to do at RD, and pretty much prevents any chance of a short SB wait for a repeat of Soarin.

Bigger question is will world showcase open earlier now that this attraction is coming in?

I was just thinking about that this morning. They could just open Norway/Frozen early or everything. I like the idea of WS opening early.

Absolutely not...

They already have the pavilion "open" and have for years...

Opening early for the lagoon means a huge overhead cost increase to staff it... And it would throw the maintenance schedule out of whack - costing more.

As many have scene... The back of the lagoon is a horticulture warzone at 9 am...they're not gonna pay to sell Olaf plushies...

They'll just make the kids wait two hours to buy them.

nevermind... I'm sure they'll be open in the giftshops.

My bigger question is when does the Bibbidi bobbity boutique add on get announced?

What are you talking about? I just said that I expect them to replace it with a new experience like they said.

Jim Hill. Take it with a grain of salt. He was right about the hotels occupancy recently. We also have to remember how Frozen is widely regarded as saving DHS from serious attendance contractions by many of the insiders on WDWmagic. Don't underestimate what that attraction will do.

Is that what they might be putting in Innoventions I really like Communicore. DS could hang our in Innoventions, the way it is now, all day. He would have loved it when the park opened. I believe there will be an attendance boost but 20% is a bit extreme.

I agree the only reason I listen to Jim hill occasionally is for the history aspect. He recently did one on the grand Floridian that I found quite interesting. Otherwise yes he reports every rumor he hears.

Yeah prior to this store opening it was more of a generic girl store then they went with the A&E boutique. I'm really surprised this hasn't come to WDW's DTD.
