What's happening in VB on New Year's Eve?

We're arriving 12-30.... departing 1-3 (myself, DH and DD7).
Anyone else going?
Does anyone know what kind of celebration the resort puts together on New Years Eve?
I called for dinner ressies about 2 weeks ago, and they said to call back 30 days out (getting close!)
We have an inn room for the first 2 nights, then our wait list for a one BR came through for the last 2 nights. Hopefully we can get the 1 BR for the first 2 nights, but I'm ok if it doesn't. It's a new resort for us, over the holidays....

I don't know what they are planning for NYE but we were there for Halloween and had a wonderful time!

They had trick or treating, activities all day for kids and adults and a party in the evening with a DJ and refreshments.

I think they will probably have a party or something on the pool deck.

We were there with our DD4 and DS7 and they had a ball and were dancing and laughing. VB really knows how to entertain people.

You may try calling the resort 30 days out and asking for someone in recreation to see what they are planning.

Last year they had a party by the pool and had a big wide screen TV out there. The slide was open late at night with special lights. They had the bar open, kids games and Karoke singing. It started to downpour close to midnight. Going on the slide late at night was a blast with the kids.

Just had to say "hi"!!! I live up off Old York Rd. in East Windsor. Nice to see a fellow DVCer and DISer so close!!
