What's good at Tony's for lunch?

I've read the bad reviews, but I really want to eat here! (Lady & the Tramp is one of my favorite movies!)

What's decent to order?

I looked at the menu & I was wondering opinions on:

-Meatball sub
-The paninis
-Chicken Parm sub
-Pizza Bianca
-Garlic breadsticks
-Soup
-Mixed greens salad

Pics would be great too if you have them!

The breadsticks are fabulous! I'm glad I filled up on them...on that note (I know it's not on the list but...), stay away from the baked ziti if you ask me....blech!

Thanks! I've heard that about the baked ziti! Someone on here once compared it to dog food! Too bad, because it's the only pasta dish I like besides ravioli.

Ok, one vote for the breadsticks with our meal.

Any other reviews/suggestions on these choices?

We were very happy with everything--except DS didn't like the flatbread cause he thought he was basically ordering a cheese pizza--not so! We're going back in July. I'll have the spaghetti again. And I normally don't order restaurant spaghetti!


Spinach and Artichoke Dip - Made with a three cheese blend & tomatoes, and served with crostini. - $6.49

Calamari - Tossed with olive relish and drizzled with caper aioli. - $9.49

Garlic Breadsticks - Served with tomato sauce. - $2.49

Spaghetti - Spaghetti with choice of meatballs or sweet Italian sausage in tomato sauce. - $13.99

Bianca Flatbread - Our house blend of six cheeses, garlic, basil, and oregano. - $11.99

They change the menu at Tony's alot! Years ago, we used to love their calzones but they took them off the menu! Last year when we were there I think I had some pasta chicken dish that doesn't seem to be on the menu any longer either. We have eaten there a number of times and for the most part, have been happy with the food. I like the minestrone soup too.

ETA: I just realized the OP was asking about lunch, so I took a peek at the lunch menu and I see there IS a calzone on the menu for lunch! YAY!

The pizza bianca is WONDERFUL! it is my boyfriend and I's favorite flatbread pizza in the world. We have to go to tony's every trip for lunch just to get that!
