What's good at Sci Fi?

We go every trip for the atmosphere and the onion rings - yum yum yum!

I love the onion rings and that's it. I had the steak sandwich this trip and it was gross! I tried the shrimp pasta the last trip and was ill that night. Oh well, to each his own. It is a cool place to check out!

What's good at Sci Fi?..... A flashlight to read the menu!!!! No kidding, after coming in from the bright sun, I jokingly told our waiter we needed a flashlight to read the menu. He was back in a "flash" with one. Guess I'm not the only one with sensitive eyes.
As mentioned, the artichoke dip was good. My DD8 thought the old monster movies were really "creepy". When asked where she wanted to eat on our upcoming trip, she responded, "NOT Sci Fi!".

We really liked the onion rings, burgers, and shakes. Their portions are big so we shared everything but the shakes.

Stick with burgers and fries. The Caesar Salad had no dressing (they forgot and bought it in a bowl) and a few little pieces of chicken. The onion rings were almost burnt and too hard to eat. DH got a steak sandwich and could not eat it because it was too dry and came on one half of a hoagie type bun plain with nothing on it! Major off day for them we thought, the second time wasn't any better. We did sit in the back at a patio table which was more enjoyable (you could at least see what you were trying to eat). The highlight was DD's light up drink. The shakes were very good too.

We usually go for lunch as we prefer that menu. Like the Spinach and Artichoke dip. I thought the Reuben was good. DH and DS enjoy the burgers and fries. I tried the chili once - Yuck to me. We visit almost every trip.

I wonder if it will creep out my DD's. We don't let my 10 yo watch horror films because she always has nightmares and then gets up frequently at night afraid someone is breaking in the house. I don't know how my 3 yo would react. Are they all horror flicks?

DH had a rueben and loved it. The DS and DDs all had burgers and were happy. But the two things that stood out the most were the onion rings and shakes! :sunny:

Pretty much. Corny old 50s/60s B movie flicks. All of it is way to cheesy to be scary. And in no way realistic like today's movies can be. It is really dark inside because of the movies. Difficult to read the menu, see your food, etc.
