We've never been there and wanted to check it out. I haven't heard great reviews and from the allears menu it look mostly like sandwiches. Is there more offerings than that? What would you recommend? There's 2 Adults and 2 kids (10 and 3). TIA

I absolutely loved the pasta with shrimp dish. Forgot what it is called but it's penne pasta, shrimp, tomatoes, spinach, etc sauteed in olive oil, very tasty and filling....skipped dessert.

Burgers, rings, and shakes. Beyond that...caveat emptor:earsboy:

Sci Fi was more of a show than good eats!

Although the milk shakes were YUMMY! If you are on the meal plan, the shake counts as your dessert, which was ok by us!

We got cheeseburgers, and it reminicent of drive in movie theater food....kinda hmmmm scary. Dry, blah.

The onion rings were good, not amazing, but good, hot, and very filling.

I also loved the shrimp pasta, DH and sons are never disapointed with the ribs or Rueben, The Milk shakes are great! This is our MUSt do restaurant, I ignore the bad reviews, we have a great time every trip!!!

Another vote for the onion rings :thumbsup2 The portion is big. I could make a meal with those alone. Well maybe a milk shake to wash them down :rolleyes1

We've enjoyed the artichoke dip (appet) and dh LOVES LOVES LOVES the reuben. I like the idea of the cheeseburger w/ rings and a shake. We're planning on sharing a meal here as portions are usually quite large and saving a TS credit for another night. :goodvibes

I also vote for the shrimp dish - It was very good. I also had the spinach dip as an appetizer and that was good also.

We were allowed to have milkshakes as our drink along with a dessert. I was there this past Wednesday on the free dining plan.

So I guess, I would just ask your server - it seems like each server has their own rules for the dining plan!

The food is all OK. Although if you like to be able to see what you are eating, that's a problem. If you have a party of more than two, and like to look at them to talk at dinner, instead of seeing the back of somebody's head, that's a problem too. I really thought the cars would be like they were in Pulp Fiction, it was a big disappointment the way it was set up, we won't be back. YMMV.

My hubby, BIL and DIL had burgers. They liked them fine.
SIL and MIL had chicken sandwich, they liked it fine.
Onion Rings were too greasy for me. (I know, that is how deepfried food is!!)

DD and I had the Ribs and they were awful. They tasted like someone poured a bottle of salt all over them! And we were so excited to eat there, so it was disapointing. But the shakes and desserts were good!

I had the Reuben Sandwich and it was excellent. However, it could have fed three people. My DS and DH love there shakes, too. The onion rings are really good.

The shrimp pasta dish sounds good. I like onion rings, but:
me+onion rings =

My ds and dh both had shakes for drinks and could get a dessert...I questioned it and was told you could get a shake for drink and/or dessert...you got both.

Anyway, I was skeptical about the Sci-Fi due to all the neg reports. While we enjoyed it, we agree with the poster that said it was more of a show. We did it once, enjoyed it, won't go again. DH had a reuben and said it was very good, ds and I had burgers and thought they were excellent. For appetizers we had BLT soup, salad and spinach/artichoke dip. We all enjoyed them. I found it better than expected.

We loved the spinach artichoke dip and DD and I split a bacon swiss burger that we both thought was really good!!

We go every trip for the atmosphere and the onion rings - yum yum yum! DS loves the burgers and I try to offset the rings by eating a salad :rotfl2:

Artichoke dip was good, along w/milkshakes & sundae(s).

they were out of the reuben when we were there:confused3 , hope I get to try it in the future.

steaks were decent, kids grilled chicken breast was dry & tasteless.

Overall we enjoyed it but, not on our "must" list.

Would luv to see it added to Fantasmic Pkg choices.
