What's good at Raglan Road?

We are going there the first time in a few weeks, and I looked at the menu, but not sure what's good. Any help?

You HAVE to get Scallops On A Fork. Hands down it's the reason we come back over and over, in fact, we've gone there JUST to have Scallops On A Fork, and it was so good that day, we added an extra day to our trip we were in such a good mood...lol.

Also, their Bangers and Mash is pretty good, as is their fish and chips (I would say better than Rose and Crown, and that's very hard for me to say!).

We're going to Raglan Road on the Friday night of our upcoming weekend trip, can't wait!

Scallops are very good. We get these and maybe soup. We also love the Fish & chips.

Is this on the appetizer menu? I did not see this on the dinner menu listed here. I marked Raglan Road off our list because I did not see anything I wanted-but I love scallops.

If it is an appetizer does anyone know if you can choose it as an entree for the dining plan?

The scallops are on the appetizer menu, I don't know if you can switch it off the dining plan.

Oh I got the "side" of tomato soup with my eggs benedict and the eggs benedict were good but the soup was delicious! This was at lunch time though, not sure how the menu varies at dinner.

The steak there with mashed potatos and crispy onions is awesome.... they also have interesting appetizers like sausages on sticks

The forks of scallops (Forest of Scallops) are absolutely delish, but the topper of the entire menu IMHO is the bread pudding (Ger's Bread and Butter Pudding). OMG, I am a bread pudding afficianado anyway, but this was beyond my wildest dreams. It was completely and utterly delectable. Rich, creamy and dense with the little pitcher of caramel sauce on one side and the pitcher of cream on the other... I cannot WAIT to go back and have it again. It was to DIE for. The waiter told us the recipe originated with one of the manager's Irish grandmothers.

The chicken pot pie is very good. The scallops are fantastic. The bread pudding is the best I've ever had. Well worth a trip to DTD.

shepherd's pie, chicken pot pie, ribs (appetizer), and the B&B pudding (dessert): all excellent

:lovestruc Oh the scallop forest is to die for, and that lime dipping sauce, too good. The bread and pudding is to die for. My dh loves the it's not bleeding chowder and I love the fish and chips. The drunk chicken appetizer is also very good. I am not a dessert/sweets person but I have to have that bread pudding when we go, the only place I'll really have dessert is there. My 6yr old last year tried my scallop forest as he loves crab legs, and we were literally fighting over them! They are that good. We leave in 2 days but I doubt we'll be eating at Raglan Road this trip :sad2: as we are meeting up with family and will try TRex. I am a little sad about that!

It's Not Bleedin' Chowder was one of the best entrees I had at Disney! Tender mussels, big hunks of potato, a great broth - DH ate some of mine, it was so good!

The scallops are an appetizer. You might be able to order it on basic dining if you order it as an entree. You would need to check with your server.

The Dalkey Duo (appetizer)
Granny's Soup
Bangers & Mash
Bread & Butter Pudding

All the beer and the Celtic Sangria! :thumbsup2

Here's another :thumbsup2 for Scallop Forest, Keen Eye for the Sheperds Pie...and DBF loved the Fish & Chips!

Dunbrody Kiss for dessert was really good, too.

And let's not forget to mention the beer flight... :goodvibes
