The smoked salmon app was great, as were the deep fried sausages. I'm sure the scallops are wonderful, they weren't on the menu last time we were there. The sole was fabulous, and the bread pudding...to die for. We never skip this restaurant.
We are trying Raglan Road on our next trip. It sounds like we may need to go twice to sample all the good stuff. I too am a bread pudding snob. So far the best I've ever had anywhere was the Coffee 2 Ways dessert at Artist Point...which I don't see on their menu anymore! Boo hoo.
Do you need a reservation to eat here?
Everything is sounding so good to me, I think we'll need to go here when we go to DD.
Does it get to busy to just be able to walk in? We might be there on a Sunday night...
I second the mushroom soup....very good! Also, I HATE bread pudding, but somehow my mom convinced me to have a bite of her's when we were there....the most delicious thing I have ever tasted.
We just love everything here!!!!!!!! Fave appies are The Goats Town (goats cheese salad) and the Heaven on Earth (ribs) and the fish and chips and heavenly ham for entrees.
Wow! It seems like there is alot for me to try! I am happy that there are so many good choices, reading the menu, I didn't know what to get. I can't wait to go!
Another great thing about RR is it's really easy to make a reservation as you can do it online through Opentable which has a link to the restaurant too. The web site has the story behind the pub as well as menus. Yum - can't wait to have Bread and Butter Pud again - it is heavenly!
