What's good at Olive Garden?

I love the chicken gnocchi soup. The pasta with five cheese sauce tastes like vodka sauce - very good also. I've had the braised short ribs and they were delicious. Like others have said, it's not "authentic" italian food, but some of it is very tasty.

If you love Italian food, as you stated in the OP, then go somewhere else. If you want chain Americanized imitation Italian food then go to the Olive Garden.

However, they do NOT have good bread. They are NOT fresh italian bread, AT ALL. This has got to be one of the very worst things... How can this Italian restaurant even serve this as bread. Honestly, it is like clheap, processed, storebought, hot-dog buns, that are just skinnier and unsliced. Seriously. No question. Now, they do have nice garlic on top. So, hey... But, Olive Garden should really consider their bread sticks to be an embarrassment.

I agree, the breadsticks are sad. Only edible if you dunk them in the Zuppa Tuscana. I can't believe anyone likes them.

I've tried many things at Olive Garden but now get the same meal every time I go. I get the chicken gnocchi soup and Ravioli di Portobello in the garlic cream sauce.
