DH and I are planning to hit this place for a late arrival "dinner" when we drive into Orlando at the start of our trip. It's been 3 years since we last enjoyed "The Earl" and we are excited about going again and bringing along my parents who have never been there. I scoped out the menu, and it all looks so good! Does anyone have any favorites? I was drooling over the Cannonballs sub, and the Full Montagu and The Original 1762 (minus the horseradish sauce!)

Any suggestions?

my favorite is the Full Montagu and the cannonball.....they are both fantastic.....hubby loved the Beef and bleu but that is not on the menu any longer.......he likes the All American now too.....I wish they had a restaurant up here in the Northeast

They renamed Cannonballs! on the menu- now it's just the Meatball sub. That's really good though, as is the Caprese, but my favorite is the Earl's Cobb Salad! I don't usually like Cobb salads but this one was awesome!

We just ate here 2 weekends ago and it was fab. 2 in our party had the meatball sub. I had the Caprese salad and it was good too. I think my DD had the Ceasar salad. Everyone in our 6 person party loved what they got.

I always get the Tuna Melt------love it. I also like the side salads. I really don't think you can go wrong with any sandwich.

During November and December they have their limited time only "Holiday Sandwich" - its like Thanksgiving Dinner in a bun! Sliced turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and gravy. Outstanding and I WISH they would make it available all year 'round!!!

When we are there in August, DD and I like the All-American, DH the Caribbean Jerk chicken, DS the meatball sub.

My dd's kids Grilled Cheese was amazing!! Done on a roll and let me just say I'm not sure what was kid sized about it! Everything we had there was great!:thumbsup2

The list for what isn't good would be MUCH shorter. The answer is nothing. :teeth:

Here's what I had last time, and it was pretty darned great:

The Original 1762

- Horseradish Sauce
+ BBQ Sauce (from Hawaiian BBQ Sandwich)

It's a blast to piece together our perfect sandwich!
