What's going to happen after the summer?

I tried searching and didn't find what I was looking for, so I'm sorry if this is a repeat thread.

Anyways, what's going to happen to WOC, Fantasmic, and the fireworks after this summer? Is it true that Fantasmic doesn't run during the halloween season? Will it be the same for WOC?

as of last Halloween season....Fantasmic was running sometimes 3X per nite.
Fireworks (Halloween themed) were also happening.

This was on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

We did Fantasmic Dessert seating last October and then watched the fireworks from our seats.

I would bet that WOC would be similar, depending on DCA closing times.

There's a very good chance that Disneyland will run Fantasmic this October. It may only run on weekends because of higher crowds, but I'd be shocked if they don't run it. And since World of Color is really packing the crowds in right now, I think it's a safe bet to also run in October, possibly nightly because it is brand new. Disneyland traditionally runs fireworks shows on the weekends, but this year the Halloween Screams show is only running during the Halloween party. I don't know if they'll run Remember Dreams Come True on weekend nights with no Halloween party.

I thought Fantasmic ran longer last year because it took so long to get Murphy... I think WOC will likely be showing, because as the poster above me said, its new and bringing in the crowds!

F! ran longer last year from Summer Nightastic till January. I am also wondering if they will run RDCT fireworks on Saturdays and Sundays during October?

Both of these posts are correct.

Fantasmic! was scheduled to be part of Summer Nightastic last year with the new, incredible dragon (aka Murphy). When she had various problems making her appearance, they extended F! through to October so people could see her.

After summer is the off season. As a general rule to answer your questions the shows, WoC, Fantasmic and Remember play only when it is busy. Usually weekends and some odd days here and there.

Last year was an exception for F! as Dinseydreams explained.

This year if WoC is able to play three show for most of the summer it may be doing a daily show in the Fall. Only time will tell.

Fantasmic! running later this year was kind of a fluke due to Murphy's problems and the Rivers of America being drained in January...but IMO October doesn't exactly match up with what most people think of when they think of "off-season" anymore. It gets very crowded over the weekends and Disney brings out a lot of new stuff to draw people in.

That said, there will be Halloween parties at Disneyland on Tuesdays and Fridays, I believe it is, meaning the park will close early to guests who don't have a separate ticket. This most likely means at the least:

*No Fantasmic! on Tuesdays and Fridays (since the park will have fewer people due to the Halloween party)

and

*Quite possibly World of Color on Tuesdays and almost certainly on Fridays (since they'll be herding everyone who didn't buy a Halloween party ticket over to DCA those nights).

So they likely can't run Fantasmic! on Fridays in October, and they have a valid nighttime show alternative in World of Color (which I would guess overall costs less to run than Fantasmic!, since there aren't reportedly 80 live actors). So I wonder if they'll just not run Fantasmic! at all in October.

Meanwhile, if they're quite possibly already running WoC on Tuesday, why not the rest of the week? They can easily do 2 shows with a relatively modest (well, modest for Disneyland Park!) 10 PM closing time, or could do one show and close at 9 on weekdays.

I'd be very surprised if they didn't run fireworks on at least weekend (i.e. Saturday-Sunday) nights in Disneyland. My best guess would be it would be the Remember Dreams Come True show, but who knows? :confused3

I was also thinking that there would be WOC on Tuesday and Friday My thinking is I don't think Disney would take all the time and energy to switch the Halloween Trick or Treat party from DCA to DL and not run WOC. I hope it runs during the week not planning on being there on the weekend way to crowded.
