whats going on with the Contemporary Resort pool?

I saw this on the website....

The Contemporary feature pool will be under refurbishment from Jan 5 through mid-March 2009. During this time, Guests may continue to use the Bay Lake pool located at the Resort. In addition, the Nanea Volcano pool and pool slide at Disney's Polynesian Resort will be available for Guests who wish to have a slide as part of the pool experience.

Does that mean they are making it into a nicer pool? Or just fixing the exisiting pool?

And do guests at CR have pool prevlidges at other pools ordinarily?

According to what one Cast Member told me they are planning to make it more tropical with plants and trees, plus I was also told once it's complete it will look better then the Volcano pool at the Polynesian. Finally until the pool renovation is complete this is the only exception where Contemporary guests can swim at the Polynesian, so normally they do not have prevlidges at other resort pools.
