What's going on with AllStarPinTradingTeam

I have been seeing all over the boards about this AllStarPinTradingTeam. It appears to me that everyone is being *banned* from it for no reason. I have heard thru the *grapevine* and from friends around the US that the administraters are going crazy deleteing posts and making sure one of the original persons who started that site, ReallyGoofymom is no longer even mentioned and trying to get everyone to believe that ReallyGoofymom doesn't exist. I met her at the Epcot event, she with a short guy, brerfrog. I just heard from a trader from TX that she received an email when she wanted to join the team telling her not everyone was accepted and she had to send a pin to someone named Christy and there were all bunch crazy rules. Is this even worth it? Can you ask for pins as a membership fee? Does Disney allow that?

I'd love to be able to explain, but alas I'm one of the banned as is my whole family, so who knows, but post your post here this is a friendly bunch.

By the way all the members that are banned are now members of the Band "Ed" get it

I understand there are certain things that just do not belong on any board. But my post re:dressing up for MGM event and my reply re: Janice was totally innocent. My being banned was so uncalled for and just plain hurtful. ]

But, theirs is not the only board. And I was not aware of this board until this happened to me. I'm glad I found out about it too as I have enjoyed visiting and posting here alot. I also have other boards to visit as well, that aren't policed by control freaks.

The best thing to come out of being a "team" member were the friendships I made. Those being, Janice, June, Bob, Ed, Donna, Michlele, Manny, Dana to name a few. Thanks for the Magic guys!!

Enough said, we the "BAND" are surviving just fine!! ROCK ON!!

I really don't like having to close threads, but I feel that I have to close this one. This is a subject that really involves another web site and how that site is run. I'm sure the moderators there don't appreciate having their decisions questioned on another forum. Not only that, but this is a subject where the tone can turn ugly fast. While spirited discussions are fine, personal attacks are not.

Parties on both sides are frequent posters here on the DIS. Yes, I will admit, I am friends with all of them, and yes, I do post on the All Star Pin Trading board. However, I do not want to see the DIS pulled into the middle of any disputes involving the other board.

If you have any questions about the policies of the DIS, please address them to the moderators. If you have any questions about the policies of any other board or website, please address them to the webmasters/moderators of that site.
