I just called to make dinner ressies for April for CRT dinner, which you can still make them 180 days out for CM and CRT (i had read differently), and the CM told me that the latest they are booking for CRT is 5:45 and the restaurant closes at 6pm. How can that be? It will be spring break for gosh sakes! Anyone else having the same problem?

I booked yesterday and was told that for June 2nd the only time they had open for dinner was 5:20 which I took, don't know if it is the same issue as you or if they are sold out for the other times, I was just happy to have the ressy

No, it wasn't that they were booked up...the CM said CRT is CLOSING at 6pm and the latest time they are allowed to book dinner seatings is 5:45. She even checked the park calendar and they are open until 11 or later all that week.

Has anyone had any luck being able to book past 5:45 during the week of april 4-11 or are you having the same issue?

It's possible that since the dates are already in the computer for CRT and Chef Mickey's that some CM's are not following the 90 day rule with CRT, but are allowing booking up until the last day they have entered in the computer. I doubt that anyone is booking past June 19 (last day entered into the system for CRT).

That being said, maybe try to wait until your 90 day mark and see if more hours open up for CRT. The wording on the internal memo for Disney was very clear that CRT and CM are just like the others and booked only at 90 days.

Maybe Disney has not entered all of the times for CRT for anything beyond 90 days? :confused3 (Just guessing - not based on anything concrete)

very confusing!

I am perplexed by the 90/180 rule change. We just got our reservations for CRT (a.m.) and Chef Mickey's (p.m.) and we are not at 90 days until February. The CM told me those were the only ones we could do (of the ones I had on my list)....

I hope you figure out the CRT question. Maybe it is a budget cutting measure?

They may be planning a special party for that night. Are they bringing back the Pirate/Princess parties? I know we ran into this for our Nov. ressie at Crystal Palace--it was a MVMCP night, so they wouldn't take any reservations after 5:20 or so. They have something planned, but just haven't announced it. Since CRT is such a small restaurant, it could have private party booked, albeit a pricey party, but hey, they shutdown DL for Miley's b'day party!

same thing they told me...180 days out for those 2 places. guess they don't know the rule...lucky for me!

i'll let you know what happens w/ trying to get later ressies at CRT...5:45 is too early for us for dinner. hope it isn't cost cutting measure. that was my first thought, but not wise on their part!

maybe so...but i checked a couple diff dates that week and she said the computer lists the restaurant closing at 6 pm all those nights. wierd if you ask me?!

In Disney Studios it used to be impossible to get later dinner seatings to far before a trip. They only opened tables in shifts -early times first and then later times as it got closer. I think this was an attempt to not set a hard closing time until they could tell how many people wanted to eat in the restaurant. Maybe CRT is doing this now?

that would make sense! I hope they don't change the times too much...i'd have to replan everything:headache:
