What's going on August 27?

I tried to make reservations for Liberty Tree Tavern on August 27th (a Saturday night) and the latest they can offer me is 5:00 pm. The CM said that they can't make any reservations after that time. Is there some special event going on? Anyone else have trouble with this date??

No, it isnt just the 27th. I have one for the 23rd for 5:10 which is the latest they could give me. Usually, if you call back closer to your trip, later times magically open up!

As far as I know nothing is going on lol. They do this with alot of meals. The trick is to keep calling back and they usually release the later dinner time about 3 weeks ahead of time.

Also, a lot of times after the hours are posted for that month you may have better luck.

The hours have been posted for August and still CMs are telling me Liberty Tree Tavern is closing early on the 27th. The park is going to be open until 10 pm but the restaurant is closing at 6 pm. I wonder if there's going to be a party of some sort. I can't imagine why they would close on a Saturday night.
