For me, it's because we are leaving in less than 3 weeks and just seeing Disney things everywhere, like a Mickey antenna ball with gold ears, and a window sticker that said Disneyland (both while driving home this week), and reading the Disboards, and the fact that the YOAMD celebrations will be on when we're down there! I'm really really excited, I haven't been to Disneyland since I was 5, and a lot of things have changed since then, so it will be really neat to see all the "new" things! :thumbsup2

Just to escape my life here for a bit, unfortunetly I have to come back home

I look forward to have uninteruppted time with my dd who is 6. No work, no family and friends, just us doing what we want when we want. I love hanging out with her and just having fun. :rotfl:

I look forward to my DS(7) Ryan, who's a high functioning autistic, to be able to relax and just have fun, be himself, not worry about being excluded, and not worry about school for a few days.

We go every year because it seems Disney parks are the only places that allow Ryan to just be him. The characters love him and interact with him regardless of his disability. He has fun on the rides and watching the shows regardless of his disability. It just brings tears to my and DH's eyes to see him so happy... and then we're all happy... together as a family.

What gets me excited is to know that I am going with my mom who really is my best friend in the whole world. She is the biggest kid, probably worse then me, and her being this way makes events sooooooooooo much more fun then expected. The poor woman cried tonight in pure happiness that we are leaving in a day and a half. I know that her and I will be skipping around the park for the first time in our lives, as children and knowing we dont have to go back to that stressful job of ours for some time.

With 46 more sleeps to go there is so much that has me excited about the upcoming trip. Our kids have no idea about the trip, my brother and his family will be meeting us at DL for a week of fun and excitement. My brother and his family have never been to DL, his two kids have never been on an airplane before. I hired a Limo to pick us up at the airport, our kids are going to scream for joy when they see their favorite uncle and his family. We will be doing a character breakfast, Blue Bayou, Rainforest Cafe, oh my gosh the Beignets at DTD, fingers are crossed for Fantasmic Balcony seats for the entire group, oh the shopping. I just could go on and on about what I am excited about on our upcoming trip. My neice and nephew's faces when they walk in the gates of DL, oh my sister in law after she gets off Splash Mountain! It just doesn't end, the excitement has been building for the past 60+ days and now we are in the home stretch!

knowing that we're going for new year's, and also that my hubby doesn't even know we're going! it's kinda for his b-day...

that and we're bringing a friend who hasn't been to DL since about 2000.. meaning he's never been to DCA! we also might be changing our dates a little cause some of his family might be coming down too, so we'll be spending some time with them too.

Seeing all of the Halloween decorations...and the fact that we go in only 9 days! I can't wait!

the feel good/butterfly excitement in my tummy

Disneyland is my escape from the stresses of work. Listening to disney songs before a trip gets me pumped! :goodvibes

I am going in a few days with a group of my very best friends, and one of them hasn't been to Disneyland in over 20 years! We are on a girls only trip without our husbands or kids and we don't have to be mothers or wives or girlfriends(don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a wife and mother) we just get to be ourselves and be friends hanging out first on the cruise, then in DISNEYLAND!
To all who have been posting the Halloween decorations a BIG THANK YOU! That is totally feeding my excitement! :Pinkbounc

My excitement is knowing my son is leaving in 6 days with my parents to disneyland for 7 days. And my son or my parents have any idea my DH and me are flying to meet them in 7 days. HAhaha. They also have no idea we will be surprising them at their breakfast and then paying for the meal. That's whats so exciting.... It's the secret. I decided this is how I'm celebrating the year of a million dreams, hahaha. Although It would be really cool to win something while we are there.

I'm super excited because DBF and I are finally staying at DL longer than our standard day trips. We will be there Fri-Sun!
Its also a trip to celebrate both of our bdays and we are having breakfast at Goofy's kitchen! I called Disney dining today to add the goody bags/balloons to our reservation.
So if you will be at Goofy's kitchen on the 21st of October, we will be the 21 & 24 year olds wearing party hats and acting like children. :rotfl:

what gets me excited is reading all this stuff on the dis boards and thinkng about waking up in the morning next to my wonderful H while on our trip and not having to get up and get ready for work but to get ready to go to Disneyland! yea can't wait!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc  :woohoo: :jumping1:
