Not sure on what having to eat for dinner. I just got out bed so I have had breakfeast yet.

Left over pizza. Had two large pizzas delivered last night, and the kids only seemed to eat junk food.

Chili Beans...complete with ground beef, stewed diced tomatoes,
diced green chilis, red and green bell peppers, and onions.
Served with corn bread on the side....yum yum!

I'm using the shrimp we had left over from our shrimp cocktail last night and making shrimp alfredo.

Maple Glazed Spiral Ham, mashed and scallopped potatoes, carrots, parsnips, peas, and not sure what is for dessert yet, my Mom is looking after that. We're just about to sit down. Everyone enjoy your New Years Day Dinner!

Hubby just ran into Omaha to get chinese, but he called and said two of our favorite places aren't open. So we are having Arby's. Not the same- but it's better then the chips I had for lunch. lol
The kids had the left over pizza for lunch.

We had pork roast, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, carrot w/onions, and cresent rolls.

Pork and sauerkraut is a New Year's day must for us. Always had that since I was a kid. Is that a German tradition???
I don't know why we eat that - supposed to bring good luck for the new year.

Like you, Buckleybunch, our place was closed, so Marie picjed up tacos from Taco Bell. Just the fixin's for me on my low carb though.

My kids had Mcdonalds and my husband and I had Captain D's. This is the first day we had off together in about 3 weeks and we had planned to do something special but were just plan tired.
