I'm having a large slice of home made broccoli, ham, and cheese quiche (leftovers of course) and a chocolate drizzle rice crispy treat, with some juice.

What about you?

I am just finishing up a very good salad. At least I keep telling myself it is very good. After losing almost 40 pounds, I am tired of salad!

Great job on the weight loss! I'm ready for a big tune up in Jan.. It's a hard line to walk, cause the family isn't on board. So I'm shooting for somewhere in the middle in Jan., somewhat healthy and moderation.

ETA- I like healthy food. The family *likes* healthy food. But they are also all about the good tasting, kid friendly foods. And I hate to see any go to waste (waist) cause honestly the waste is bad, but I like the taste too.

At dinner (the only meal we really eat together) I just ate less of what everyone else was having and made a salad even if I was the only one eating it! Lunch was salad, except once a week when I splurged and ordered out with the office. Breakfast was toast with peanut butter typically.

I also managed to work in at least 30 minutes 4 times a week to walk briskly on my treadmill. Good luck to you! I started in January too because it was just too hard to start over the holidays.

It really is hard to start during the holidays. I'd probably end up ditching any restrictions and eating twice as much just because.

Another hard thing is to make lasting changes. Good grief do I like food! I lost a good amount of weight once and my family all told me they were worried, I told them I like food too much for them to worry.

Right now, my clothes are snugger. And my belly has made a come back. So it's time to nip it in the bud.

I'm not sure yet. I'm still sick so I know I need to get some protein in me, but nothing particularly sounds good right now. I might run up to the grocery store in a little while and pick up a sandwich from the deli or something. :)

I was really bad today:cool2:. I just had 2 cinnimon buns with cream cheese icing. I was only going to have one, but the other one kept calling my name:rolleyes1!!!

Hope you feel better soon! You have been sick for a few days now haven't you?

That sounds so good! I haven't had a cinnamon bun in ages.

** I don't stop at one if I can help it either! :)

We have a local store called The Butcher Shoppe. The have EVERYTHING and all homemade!!! Just the smell of the store makes you salivate when you walk in. I only went to pick up meat for supper. I walked out with broccoli salad, coleslaw, meat, and those dang cinnamon buns. Let me tell you, it was the first time I have ever bought them, and they are definitely the best cinnamon buns I have ever had!! And they don't skimp on the cream cheese icing either:cool1:!!!!

Thank you! Yeah, I have, but luckily I think this is the same thing I had at the beginning of October so at least I know what to do for it. AND thankfully this isn't happening a month from now, at WDW Half-Marathon time! :scared1:

That's a long time to be sick! If you don't mind me asking, is it a really bad flu or something?

You might not be up to the half-marathon. You'll need time to build back up won't you? Well then, if you were in shape before maybe it's just a bump in the road for you. I hope that is the case.
