What's for lunch? I'm starving!

I'm so hungry I just called and ordered myself some General Tso's chicken! I never eat big lunches- but today I feel like I could eat my chicken and then some!!!

Lunch is over for me...but it was a Carnitas bowl from Chipotle. Rice, black beans, the pork, the green medium salsa, and a little bit of sour cream and cheese. Got a side of chips to scoop it up with and a lemonade.

Only ate half the thing and the rest is in the fridge for lunch Wed. Hopefully it'll warm up ok.

Hey, to heck with lunch. What I want to know is, WHERE IS THE SUN?!?!?!?!?
Oh yeah, I know. We left it back in Tucson.

We just arrived a few days ago, and the forecast is calling for rain all week. Oh well, it IS nice to see grass and trees again. We're heading to the Weathervane restaurant for lunch. You can't beat Maine for good seafood!!

Leftovers from Kanki! Yummy; they give you so much food there that I can always get a couple of lunches out of my leftovers.

I really wanted a double cheeseburger and fries from McD's, though.

WaWa Hot to Go Bowl --3 chicken strips and mashed potatos. But no gravy. Who serves mashed potatos without an option for gravy???

I love the Weathervane. It is a good thing that the nearest one to me is 75 miles away in South Portland. Or 80 miles away in Dover Point. We have the Lobster Trap up here and they are pretty good but just not as good as Weathervane. Of course I'd pick Newick's even over the Weathervane.

Now I am really hungry for supper since all I had for lunch was a lousy salad!

My beautiful little grandson is arriving with his mom and dad on Saturday. They left Arizona this morning and my daughter updates me with pics from her phone every time they reach a new state. The last picture was of Carter in his car seat playing with plastic rings and wearing them like bracelets. Yes, I MISS him and can't wait to see all of them in a few days.

We went to the Weathervane in South Portland. The one in Kittery is bigger, but in the summer it can be quite crowded.

We have three nearby Weathervanes to choose from- Sanford, South Portland, and Kittery. I love their haddock nuggets and clam chowder. Good onion rings, too!
